I may not be a chemistry brain child, but if you ever see this name as a teacher for a class, run in the other direction. His English is horrid! Just because I got an A, that means nothing. If not for outside help from others teachers and friends, I would have a fat 'ol F. Everything he says is out of the book, and if you ask a question he can't explain it. Don't make the same mistake I did and take this class. Take anyone else at all. I would transfer schools before I would take another class with Mr. Xie!!!!!

Mr. Xie can't speak English very well, making it difficult for the average Freshman Chemistry student to understand what is going on in lab. If you understand chemistry well enough that you can do lab on your own, he would be ok, but if you need any guidance whatsoever, do not take him.
