Western Kentucky University / M / Vivian R. Moody

Dr. Moody told us the first day that we were "explorers". Although it can be a little frustrating at times, most of the class is spent trying to solve problems on your own or with a partner. There are many class discussions as well which make it easier. If you show up and do the work you will get an A.

There is alot of work in this class but if you truely love being an eled major you will fall in love with Dr. Moody! She is awesome and very caring. She makes learning math very fun! She challenges all her students to find the answer rather then her coming out and saying how to solve it. If you dont go to class then you will be lost.

Dr Moody is AWESOME!!!! You cannot get a better Math teacher. She is very supportive and will go over the information as many times as you need her to. I enjoyed her class. If you need to take Math 205 or 206, take Dr Moody.

Dr. Moody is great. She is not going to try to make the course extremely difficult. She does what she can to work with you. If you do not explain yourself on her tests, then she will give you a bad grade. So explain your thought process! However, she does make the study guide extremely similar to her exam. You will do fine on her exam as long as you do the study guide. Overall, take Moody. She provides a great learning environment and she's really sweet. You'll love her!

I don't know what everyone else was talking about when they rated Dr. Moody. She is one of the best professors I ever had. Not only was the course super easy, but I actually learned A LOT. Dr. Moody is so nice, considerate, and accomodating. Once, I missed two days of class and she personally emailed me the in-class assignment so I could make up the work and not get a zero. I love her and will take her again if possible!

I am still currently taking Dr.Moody, but she is an amzingggg teacher! One of the sweetest woman that you will ever meet. Very understanding about anything. Ive missed class for things like a flag football game and I just explained to her that I had a game and she let me go! WIll work with you on anything you need help with and if the class doesn't understand something she will rearrange her lesson plans to make sure everyone understands. I put A as my grade because so far I have made a 100 on almost everything including the final. I've been begging her to teach all of my other elementary math classes!!

Dr. Moody was an awful teacher! She was unorganized and changed her mind all the time. She could not follow her own syllabus. She never taught anything. I know as much after completion of the class as I did going into the class. You purchase the books and did not use them nor were we taught how to teach the material. Especially being an education class for educating teachers! Do not take classes from Dr. Vivian Moody!

This professor is the biggest joke on the planet. She has no clue what she is doing and runs the class like it is 4th grade. She isn't very good at explaining things. Her class is complete cake, don't get me wrong, but half the classes are a waste of everyone's time. Once, she had us make a cube out of paper and that was the only assignment for the day - as if we didn't know how to make a cube or what a cube is.

You're probably going to have to take her anyways, but this is just another terrible professor at WKU that shows what a joke this university is - they keep really bad teachers that don't know how to lecture or run a classroom.
