Mrs. Pace is a good teacher and makes her students try really hard. She's not easy and will tell you if your design needs to be better which most people don't like about her. You won't have a problem if you do waht she asks and if you try. Projects take a lot of time so be ready for that.

You don't really have a choice on whether or not to take her, but PREPARE YOURSELF!! She'll pretend sometimes to act like she cares, but don't be fooled! The woman is heartless! She expects you to be able to produce graduate level work, and will dock your grade if she doesn't "like" something. Especially if you're in a lower-level studio, she will treat you like the scum of the earth. And don't expect to have a life, be able to study for other classes, or work while you're taking her for studio. You will work for 30 or more hours a week on her projects! No joke. I'm sorry in advance for anyone who has to take her.

Ms. Pace is by far the most inconsiderate teacher I have ever had in my life, as far as the type of teacher she is goes. She is very knowledgeable of all the aspects of interior design but she doesn't present them in a way that it helps her students. It seems if you take her for any classes you have to be at an almost professional level to pass them. She grades hard and if you ask her questions when you need help she's not very fair because she expects you to know what your doing. She cant seem to understand that her students may have other commitments to attend to outside her class and makes you do so much for one project and it takes more time out of your schedule that you have to put all your other homework off to the last minute just so you can work on her assignments. Her supply list will blow a hole in your pocket because she basically requires you to get the kind of stuff she uses whether or not you afford it and if you get any brand of supply other than what she has on the list she'll criticize you for it. I cant really tell you to take another teacher for this class because she's one of the main teachers for the studio classes. But i just want you to know that the storys you may hear about her are true. She knows her stuff but she's a mean teacher.

Pace is nice up front, but then completely changes and does not understand that we cannot be in class all the time. She doesn't teach you anything about interior design. I can learn so much more watching TLC. She has us do architecture projects that are a compete waste of time. The final project you have to do is design your own rooms. She didn't teach us anything to help us out with this project. He grading on this project was lame and so were her comments on anything we did. Bad teacher, bad class, complete waste of time. Oh, and if she says you need to buy any supplies, order them off the internet because she doesn't order anything for you and hardly any stores in bowling green carry them.
