Dr. House is a wonderful professor. He actually ran his own company so he teaches this course with experience and first-hand knowledge. This is not a difficult course. House will lecture for part of the class. Some notes are pulled from the book but his exams are based largely on the notes he provides. Take notes and study them carefully for good exam grades. There is also a paper involved that will be based on the research of any prominent business figure. You will have to present your paper to the class. For a good grade on the paper practice NOT reading directly what you wrote; use notecards and try to speak from memory. Also, bring an interesting and unique prop. House doesn't pick favorites but he has a great personality and his knowledge is to be appreciated.

Dr. House is an excellent professor; easy-going, knowledgeable in the topic, and precise. The majority of class will be spent on student presentations and lectures. The exams are somewhat difficult but Dr. House lets you know pretty much EXACTLY what they will comprise of beforehand. To obtain a good grade, be sure to take good notes and study the chapters he assigns because that is exactly what the exams will cover.

I really liked this course and Dr. House. He sometimes gets off track and tells really long stories, but he really knows what he's talking about and you learn a lot in class. Just go to class and you'll do really well.

I loved this class and Dr. House is an excellent professor. At first I almost dropped the class because on the first day it sounded like it would be a lot of work, but I am so glad I didn't drop it because it turned out to be a great class. There are four tests, one presentation, and a paper to write. The presentation is not hard at all and he grades them very easy. Do yourself a favor and take Dr. House. You will be glad that you did.

Dr. House is an excellent professor. He seems to enjoy what he does. He likes to tell you stories which are usually interesting. The test are pretty easy as long as you study the definitions and what he tells you in class you will do great!

The fact that I rated Dr. Houses class as easy , does not mean he wasn't a good enough teacher. He was an excellent professor who was extremely knowledgeable in management. He is down to earth, personable, and seems to always have a smile. He showed genuine concern for teaching his students how to be effective managers. He summarized each chapter, and his summarys included exactly what was going to be on the test from each chapter. Write down everything he says, and pay attention to the things he discusses that are not in the text, he will often ask questions on the tests that come from something he's told the class about. Basically, come to class, take good notes and study what he tells you to, and it's an easy A. I learned a LOT in this class, probably more than any other. Western needs more like him.
