If you have a death in your family or you get sick good luck! She does not accept doctors notes, and goes as far as to compare you to other students whom she believes act in a better way than you do. I was very dissatisfied and will go to all lengths to not have her in class again. Do NOT take her class!

This class requires a lot of work and attendance is mandatory, for your own good show up to class!!! Duncan's notes are pulled straight from the book, so be sure to stay on top of them for exams. This class is based on creating flat patterns which entails a lot of detailed work. You can't BS your way through it. Flat patterns require a lot of time and attention to detail. If you know how to sew this class will be easier than for those who don't. You will also save a lot of time if you have a personal sewing machine b/c lots of work is completed in the lab. One note of caution: Duncan is unbelievably INCONSISTENT!!! She will tell you one thing today and something COMPLETELY different tomorrow. You are better off seeking help with alterations with Mrs. Carraco than with Duncan. There is no final exam, just a final project to create your own design. For a good grade try a design that is a little challenging and be sure to invest in decent fabric; that makes all the difference.

Ms. Duncan is crazy! But in a god way I promise, she tends to get off subject alot or repeats stories during her lessons. The work itself is sooo easy it's rediculous the projects we are assigned are group work, so make sure you pick a good group from the beginning. The only complaint I have is that she grades unfairly sometimes ex: one time I got a B because I didn't fill the whole "Box" with my answer!

She is absoultly the worse teacher I have ever had. She is racist for one and she always goes back on her word. She will say that she wants something done a certian way and then when you do it that way she says that is not right and that she never said do it this way when she did. I have had to take her for numerous classes. She also teaches to you like you are in first grade. She should not be a teacher and should not be able to come back after her maternity leave. I have never hated a teacher as much as her.

Although this class is super easy, Mrs. Duncan is a complete Idiot. Enough said....

This class was very easy, the tests, homework, and the fashion show at the end of the year. The only problem is you do feel rushed through everything because there is so much to cover before the show. There are several projects which just take a little time but they are pretty simple. Mrs. Duncan can be a little crazy sometimes, but she is a really fun teacher. This is a great class to take.

Mrs. Duncan is an extremely nice person but her classes can also be very boring. If you pay attention in class, you'll do fine. At the end of the semester, you have to put on a fashion show. Can be easy and a lot of fun, she just doesn't give you a lot of time and you end up being rushed.
