Professor Dalton is a good teacher. She gives a moderate amount of notes and she goes really fast! You must give a presentation but itsn't hard. She takes random attendance as well. The tests are all multiple choice and are usually about 40-50 questions. You must read the book to do good on the tests. I enjoyed the class.

I describe this class as difficult because you are not provided with many resources to do well in the class. Dalton is nice and entertaining, but she really doesn't seem that into the class. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing-but it means a lot of the material she goes through too quickly and she does pick out oddly specific questions on the exams. She shows some pretty liberal videos but she does not force an opinion on you and she listens to everyone in the class. Overall, WRG probably wouldn't be much fun with any professor, but this class is difficult to do well in even if you have regular attendance and attempt to take notes at warp speed. Dalton would be cool to hang out with, but not so much as a professor.

The teacher can not teacher. Her exams suck and what she asks for is detailed stuff from the book. Half the time I am guessing on the test and praying that I get a good grade. Whatever you do don't take her class. She is a horrible teacher!!!

Ok this class wasn't bad at all. I'll admit that Dalton isn't the best teacher ever, but her class is really easy. The best way to go about the notes is to have your book out and a highlighter. Her power point slides are almost word for word from the book. She gives you a study guide before the test that if you study you should be fine. You have to give an easy 5 minute presentation as well.

This is the strangest class ever. You go over normal lectures in class but the important facts are nowhere to be found on the tests. Her test questions are very specific and completely random and off-the-wall. Ms. All is a very nice teacher but extremely scatter brained. She misses class quite often

Mrs. Dalton (All) is a very nice, young teacher. Unfortunately she is very unorganized and her teaching methods are very random. We watched a lot of videos. The tests were absolutely ridiculous and I made below average on each of them, but fortunately my grade was saved by a powerpoint presentation I made (worth 100 pts) and small short answer assignments. The tests did not cover material covered in lectures or on the power point slides but came directly out of the book. I do not recommend this teacher.

After reading the other evals on this prof, I have to agree that she is not the greatest at teaching. I happen to have some knowledge on this stuff coming in; otherwise it would have been hard. She is nice tho. Read the book; all tests are from there.

Do not take this teacher if you could even call her a teacher! This was by far the worst class I have ever taken at WKU! She is VERY unorganized. She lectures (reads) from powerpoint but she goes through everything so fast that you have absolutely no time to take any notes! She doesn't want you to take notes because she wants you to read the book. The chapters in the book are like 60 pages long. You have no clue what to study for on the tests. Questions on the test come from random things in your book. Also you have to do a powerpoint presentation in front of the class on a problem in some area of the world. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!

First of all I want to say that the class would not be hard if it were possible to take notes. All she does is show her power point presentation and almost reads off everything she says. She does not allow enough time to write down notes because she says that the information is in the book. I found it best to highlight what I could find and study that for tests. Her multiple choice tests come with the book basicaly. She told our class that she pulls the questions out of a bank with the book, so expect some of the questions to look unfarmiliar and make no sense. Oh, and now you have to use these clickers (cost around $18) wihch took up the majority of our class times several days, and they wouldn't even work right.
If you can, take another teacher because Ms. All didn't put a lot of effort into teaching this class.

Make sure you buy the book because she doesn't give you enough time to write the stuff she has in her powerpoints. However, go back and read the chapters because she picks random stuff from them to put on the test. Its a toss up whether or not what you study will be on the test and her review consists of "make sure you know....." and it may or may not wind up on there or not. So, just take someone else if at all possible.

All the reviews that I have read for this class say she is easy, but to our class I have found the opposite. She is very confusing, and speeds through the notes. You do not have time to copy them down, before she moves to a different slide. Her notes are powerpoint which help a little. She takes forever to hand back assignments and map quizzes. She is not organized at all. During class time she tells random stories, and doesn't give you the notesof information that will be on the upcoming test. Overall this is a very confusing class!

This is the worst class I've ever taken. She doesn't seem to care about her class AT ALL. Her PowerPoint presentations of the notes aren't from the book she tells you to buy--everyday is one big scavenger hunt. And..dont bother to ask about the material that you can't find because it's very doubtful she'll make an effort to figure it out. She allows ZERO time to write any notes down..and when test time comes--you'll have NO CLUE where to start studying because you haven't been able to take any notes. Reading the chapters is supposedly the key, yet it's quite impossible to remember everything. Take someone else if you can...you won't regret it

Mrs. All is an easy teacher, she types all the notes and e-mails them to you. Her slide presentations can be boring, but you can study on your own and do fine. There are some maps on tests, but they're matching, which makes them easy. She is young and kind of interesting, I'm glad I took her class

Mrs. All is a very nice lady, but she is rather boring. Attendance isn't mandatory and the notes are all on her website, so most of the time most of the class doesn't show up. If you study all of the notes (and there are pages and pages of them), you should do ok.

Sara All is a highly incompetent teacher. Emails the notes for the class to the students at the beginning of the semester. All the lectures then consist of her reading the notes in class. She doesn't even bother to offer any kind of information in her own words. She just reads the notes and sometimes acts as though she was learning something new too. Fortunately, though, the class is primitive and the content is mostly general knowledge. Nonetheless, All's class will have you bored to tears. Bring a book to read during her lectures; she doesn't care a bit.

I took this as a May class. It wasn't very hard at all. She puts all the notes on the internet and you just print them off and follow along with the powerpoint in class. It was kinda boring, but I think it would have been better if it would have been a regular semester class. Her tests are mostly multiple choice and she curves the grades quite a bit if they are low. There are also lots of extra credit opportunities. I really liked her as a person as well as a teacher. Do not plagiarize and make sure you have a works cited on the powerpoint presentation that you have to give!

Sara All is an awsome teacher. I think she is a grad student, pretty young and can relate to students very well. I learned alot from this course, but it wasn't very difficult. Share a book if at all possible. Notes you can print off her website. Attendance is not required, but many times she will give extra credit or EASY pop quizes on low attendance days. I definately recommend her!!!
