DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Literally any other one would be better. I have a friend who was taking Spanish, Biology, and Chemistry simultaneously and he thought this professor's class was more difficult. He was also a Spanish major coming into the course and had just finished a summer living in Costa Rica. Now he resents Spanish and has dropped his Spanish major. If you take this course you should expect to hear NO English, do a TON of homework, and study like you would for a upper level course in your major. This amount of work is not fair for a Gen Ed course that people like me have no general interest in.

This class is very difficult for an entry level spanish class. The only reason that I have an A at the moment is because I have a pretty decent background in Spanish. Majority of my class is not doing well at all.
