Tests are mainly multiple choice, the final was essay but it was more of an opinion thing rather than right or wrong. He wanted to really know what you thought rather than making up an answer that you know he wanted to hear. The essay was very short and simple. Tests are easy. You have to attend a play and write a page over it, also easy. Class was easy but a good class. I enjoyed it.

Mr. Brock opens your eyes to theater and the effects theater has on the economy. He opens your eyes by telling you stories that emphasize the concept. He is able to do this because he is an actor. This is a very interesting class and not very demanding. You do have to attend a play outside of class and write a paper on it. He really turned my attitude around about theater and I will attend many more plays in the future.

I liked Dr. Brock but I didn't care much about Theatre. He loves it so much he tries to make you love it too. He was a funny professor and not terribly hard, but you have to take notes and study them in order to get a good grade.

Robert Brock is a wonderful teacher. He is really interested in his subject. He has many funny stories to tell. You get to go backstage at his theatre. The first and last tests are multiple choice and one of the tests are fill in the blank. You are required to see one play and wrie a review over it and there are two books you must read. They are short and easy to comprehend.

This was a great class to take. It was very easy. There are several plays that you are supposed to read, but I believe I only read one of them. He goes over everything you need to know about the plays in class and then you usually watch the play on tv. His tests were easy, but his final came as a surprise and was slightly hard. You get out super early on the first day, but that's about the only time you get out that early. If he isn't there he sends a TA to make you watch a movie and while there is a chance you could sneak out early they usually take attendance again at the end of class. Class will be called off only once and you must go to Horse Cave on one of your class days to tour his theatre. I would definatly recommened this class to take care of one of your gen ed requirements.

This course is fun and easy. Mr. Brock is an exceptional teacher and is very funny. Not a boring class. Even if you don't read all the books just show up, listen and watch the movies.

If you want an easy class this is one, he isn't really a bad teacher. You watch movies, read plays, there isn't a text book you just buy the plays. There is one big project but you don't turn it in until the last class and you have to go to 2 plays and write reviews but those aren't hard either.

If you show up for class, watch the films, take notes on "review day" you'll be fine in this class. Mr. Brock seems to enjoy teaching and gets the information across. Great teacher!
