Western Kentucky University / K / Mary P. Kovar

This class was really easy. Probably the easiest nursing class I've had and I've been through 3 semesters. Ms Kovar is super sweet and really funny. She has been my favorite nursing professor. There are no tests only quizzes online and reading to do. You have to choose one book from a list of several to read and do an analysis over. You also have to do a presentation over a certain ethnicity or culture. You also have to do a journal for this class but it's super easy.

Really easy class.... great teacher.

Mrs. Kovar is the greatest teacher ever!!!! She makes pharmacology, which could be incredibly difficult, easy. For her tests, study your notes and the questions at the end of each chapter. Rarely does she throw a question at you that you have no clue about. Also, if you see a question that has 4 choices, and you've only seen one of the drug names, chances are that is the answer. Just remember to breathe, and ask for help. Mrs. Kovar is always willing to help out her students. You'll be so glad you had her!!!

Mrs. Kovar is one of the best instructors I have ever had. She works with her students in every way possible. She realizes that everyone learns differently and until you know which way you learn the best she will work with you. It is obvious to see that she wants her students to succeed. I believe that she truly enjoys what she does and you can see that radiate as she teaches. She's smart and funny and class is never, ever boring. She's an all around sweet heart, I wish I had her for every nursing class.

If you ever have questions email her and you'll be surprised how promptly she responds, if you can't wait call her at home, if she's not there you'll speak to her just as sweet husband. In essence I want you to know that help is always available and there should be no reason a person should not do well in any of Mrs. Kovar's classes. I give her an A++

Mrs. Kovar is the best teacher I've had at Western! She is so down to earth and helpful. She really cares about her students and does what she can to help you learn. She posts notes on Blackboard, but you need to go to class to retain the abundance of information. She also makes your clinicals run smooth and swift.
