This course is really easy. All you have to do is keep up with your stuff and do all of your work. Ms. Vowels is sweet, goofy, and computer challenged. You might have to show her a few things about basic computer stuff like word document and power-points. She's really flexible on due dates if you have a good reason for extended time. The class is broken up into groups, one for each chapter and you do presentations. At the end you're assigned a topic to research using peer reviewed materials and then present it. Attending orientation is mandatory and so are assignments. The only way you can fail her class is to not do your work or be irresponsible. Other than that it's an easy A course.

Ms. Vowels was the BOMB! She is a great educator! She is funny in class and always available to help you in any way. She extended deadlines and was willing to work with students who were having problems. I learned alot in a very relaxed class. Quizes and tests were in class but easy. I would highly reccommend this class!

Yes, this was a pretty easy course BUT you have to keep all your stuff organized because Ms. Vowels is certainly NOT. She's a wonderfully goofy lady and comes off as old school on due dates but she's really not and bends the rules at times. The class is broken up into groups, one for each chapter and you do presentations. At the end you're assigned a topic to research using peer reviewed materials and then present it. Attending orientation is mandatory and so are assignments but I was amazed at how irresponsible most of the class was! You also get to observe in the classroom and present a report using comparative teaching standards which is uploaded to your portfolio along with another critical performance about your teaching philosophy.
