Of course any trig. class is going to be hard. He doesn't make you completely simplify answers, which is very good! He is willing to help at all times. He is a great teacher, he knows his stuff. Just be there everyday, take all notes, and do all homework and you'll be fine if you are at all good at math. He is also the only math professor I have had so far that makes a review sheet. It's wonderful!

this guy is hilarious! he dresses funny and makes me laugh...even though his jokes just aren't funny! the class is pretty easy considering you get to have a full paper of notes for a test and two for the final. I would suggest him just because he makes it easy and attempts to make it fun.. he does like to drop chalk and when it breaks he just steps all over it!! haha hes is funny!

I took during the Summer and he was awsome. You are alowed to make formula sheet and use them on your exam. You can put anything you want on your formula sheet. He had alot of quizes but all the quizes add up to 1 exam grade. Alot of fun!

Dr. Lengfield is personable, and most of the time will give extensions on take-home quizzes when asked. Multivariable is a difficult course and so there were times when concepts were not clearly conveyed. He was rushed at the end of the semester to cover the remaining material in time. This caused a large amount of work to pile up in a short time period. He is sometimes hard to find at his office, but if you set up an appointment you should be fine.

Dr. Lengfield shows a clear understanding of the course topics and is actively helpful to his students. He goes over any and every homework problem that a student had trouble with or questions about at the start of every class and stops during class to answer any questions. In addition, he sends his students weekly emails consisting of homework updates, quiz answers, and test answers. He gives a total of 12 quizzes throughout the semester and only 10 of those are calculated into the final grade. Students are allowed to bring a "help sheet" (or a sheet of paper front and back of notes) to every quiz and exam. Dr. Lengfield also goes the extra mile by giving study sessions the night before every exam and occasionally extra credit is on the exams. He was always polite and respectful to me with any question I had either in class or in his office.

Dr.Lengfield is a great teacher..definetely take him if you have a chance. I've always struggled in algebra, but because of the way he teaches I managed to get A's and B's on almost every test and quiz. He realizes most of us are only taking the course because we have to so he only teaches what we have to know. He's always willing to spend time helping you. He doesn't take up homework so u don't HAVE to buy the book, but if u struggle in math it helps to do the homework. There's a quiz every week (some take homes) and he gives partial points for work done even if final answer is wrong. Just watch out for attendance quizes (when majority of class doesn't show up he has the ones there put name on a paper for 100 points on a quiz) but I missed around 5 of those and still got a B in the class.

but he moves somewhat fast, unless you ask questions. he answers any question you might have
o yea, he make weird jokes...

this is the best\easiest math class i have ever had in my life (including high school) he gives the option to write a paper on a figure in history to replace the grade of one of your test, which are easy in the first place. He gives great test reviews, and a quiz most every week. if you have a chance, take this guy for math, you will not regret it,
