it's an online class, but not bad. This really is an easy class. I got a B, but easily could have gotten an A, had I remotely studied for the final which is like 60% of your grade.

This class is only offered online, you listen to a really boring man give the lectures, then do a review and a test after each chapter. The tests are only 24 questions and you have 10 minutes to take them. All the questions on each test are made up of questions that you got wrong on the study guide that is mandatory before each test. If you write the answers down that you got wrong, you will do well on every test. The final, however, SUCKS. You have to know 300 questions in 120 minutes. Most of them are suffixes and prefixes. The course was easy, but the final is ridiculous. I had a 97 test average and only scored an 82 on the final which barely gave me an a in this course. I should have easily had a high a if not for the difficultly of the final. Overall I do recommend the course especially for pre-health professions or nursing majors. It is really helpful

I would recommend this class to anyone, but this class is going to be only offered online starting in the Spring. But I always studied the night before the test, and always made an A. He posts study guides on black board, and those are helpful. Do the homework in the textbook, that helps refresh your memory. There is a multiple choice part on the test and a spelling test. He also gives extra credit on each quiz. If you're looking for an easy class take this.

I took this class as an online course and i recommend doing it that way. It is a lot of memorizing vocabulary terms and things like that. If u make note cards and read through the chapters once then you will be good for the test. It's an easy A as long as you do that. When I took it we had 1 paper to write and either 4 or 5 tests. teacher is good.

Very wonderful teacher. I took it as a web course. Not difficult. Gives extra credit on every test. Could go for 3 weeks without doing homework. Only grades taken are 4 tests, 2 discussion board postings, and a paper. Will have to study. There is a spelling portion on the first two tests. I really enjoyed learning this information, and this web course. : )

Absolutely loved Mr. Whitley and his class. He talks a lot about stories from his past nursing experiences which are very interesting to listen to. Basically all we do is go through the chapters, read the terms outloud, and that's pretty much it. Tests are multiple choice and are pretty easy. As long as you go to class and listen you are good. I actually enjoyed getting up and going to this class. Notecards were also a big help on studying for the tests.

I absolutely loved Mr. Whitley and his class. It was by far the most useful class I took this semester. He was very helpful when I had trouble with the course and was always available in his office. He has many years of nursing experience and shares this with the class. He knows his stuff and I feel like I gained a lot of useful information from him.

This is a HARD university experience class. Most of my friends classes were easy and they did nothing. We had to write 2 papers, had 2 tests and his test her hard. Our class average on our midterm was 79....in UE!!! That's rediculous.

Mr. Whitley is extremely nice. The thing that is annoying about this class is all the words that has to be looked up and defined. It takes a while to do at first but then it gets easier as you learn more. The class is a little bit boring at times because all you do is go around the room pronouncing the words and giving the definition. Mr. Whitley has stories to tell that are interesting, though. The tests aren't too bad but you do have to memorize quite a bit. This class isn't difficult at all as long as you spend the time to learn definitions.

Mr. Whitley is an awesome guy. He tries to relate to all of his students. He understands that we all have harder classes to take so he tries to make the class pretty easy. The tests are all multiple choice and he gives you a chance to make bonus points on them. I reccommend him to anyone!

Dr. Whitley is a really nice guy, and very helpful. He understands that you have other classes for you major that are difficult so he tries to make his easier on you. This class is easy. Do the pages in the book, make sure you get the correct answers in class, and make note cards for all the terms, diseases and tests.

Mr. Whitley is a really good guy. He is very understanding and will help you any way he can. He will even give about 8 actual questions and answers from the test before an exam. All you have to do is look up the terms before class and attend on a regular basis and this class should be fairly easy.

I took this class online. It was difficult because you did not have him working on the stuff with you. I would definitely take the course in the classroom if I had to take it again. It is too confusing to have to go over 100 terms for each test and only 20 or 30 be on the test. Nice teacher. Moderate homework in the book.

Dr. Whitley is a great teacher. He's really nice and he always has interesting stories to tell from when he was a nurse. The class isn't all that difficult, but there are a lot of terms you have to know. But you go over the terms so many times in class that you end up knowing most of the information easily, so you don't really have to study a whole lot. He does require one paper to be written, but it's really easy to do and he give you like a month to write it. I would recommend this class to anyone going into any type of health care career. This class ends up being very helpful for other health-related classes that you will take later.

This class is really rather boring but an easy A! Show up and particpate in discussions. You have to write three or four one page, double spaced papers and attend a few activities outside of class. DO NOT buy the text book unless you have money to just waste. I didn't open mine once. Easy class, nice teacher, GPA booster.

I took Whitley at 8 a.m. on Tues. and Thurs. The good thing was that the class only lasted from 8-9:00 a.m., but it was soooo boring! All we ever did was go up and down the rows and go over the terms we did in the book for homework. He tends to talk alot too...especially before a test when all you want to do is take it and go home. You're allowed four absences and after that, one point is deducted from your final grade for each additional absence and I think that is ridiculous!

Mr. Whitley is a great guy. He's a former ER nurse, so he has TONS of stories to tell. At times, the class material gets moderately boring, but he encourages student interaction to keep the class interesting. This was an easy A, and didn't require much studying. I'd recommend it to ALL students entering into ANY type of profession in medicine!

I loved this class!! Mr. Whitley tries very hard to be there for his students. He even gives you 8-10 of the questions on the test and the answers for them. He makes the class interesting and students interact instead of just lecturing. He will also give you examples of situations he has seen that fit hard to understand terms. I recommend this teacher to anyone!!
