If you love English then you will LOVE this class. KP is a great teacher, funny (if your not worried about being "cool" in front of others) and very informative. There are plenty of writing assignments and chances for the class to get together to review rough drafts before turning them in. There are exercises in grammer (MY WEAKNESS) and she is very willing to spend time with students who struggle. This has been one of my favorite classes and even more importantly, one from which I have truly learned.
If you hate English and writing... STILL TAKE THIS CLASS! If you are open to learning, you will learn something in this class that you didn't know before.
KP teaches at the Glasgow Campus!

So KP is a trip. The only negative things I can say about her is that she will make you stay the entire 3 hours of class and she's kind of slow getting things graded. She loves what she does to the point that it's kind of sad. Most of the time, though, she is funny. She's helpful and available when you need her (she's the librarian for crying out loud). I definitely would recommend her if you want an easy A.

She's a great teacher, and if I had tried a little harder, I would've made a better grade. It was hard for me to have the motivation to drive to Glasgow from Bowling Green, so I missed a few classes and got counted off points for that. Her Content Exams are crazy long, but doable. Just show up and study, and you will do fine.

I loved this course and this instructor. She is very funny and helpful. She will do anything she can to help you in the class. There are no exams, but are six papers throughout the course. The papers are a little challenging, but are still pretty easy. She gives a few quizzes over essays and they are really easy. If you come to class and do the homework, you will do good. EXCELLENT INSTRUCTOR!!! Definately recommend.

She's a funny teacher. She doesn't grade hard at all but the assignments that she does make, you need to do them. I thought I would have it easy since I am fairly talented in the area of English and get off easy by not doing some assignments. Boy was I wrong. It's a fun class and you will have a fun time with her. If you have the opportunity to take her class, I would highly recommend it.

Ms. Pennavaria is one of my favorite teachers because of her sense of humor and interest in English. She grades very easy and returns papers that aren't above a C to re-do and turn back to her. She also doesn't count any points off for late assignments, but since there is an assignment due almost every week, it's easy to get behind if you turn one in late. I thought she made the class more interesting because she gives real life examples of bad grammar. This might sound strange, but the only thing I don't really like about her is that she grades so easy. This kind of made me feel like I didn't have to worry about my papers, therefore I didn't try as much as I have in other classes. Otherwise, be prepared to write lots of papers.
