Professor Osborne is easy going and he always reviews for the tests. He does have mandatory attendance so if you show up, he reviews. Most of the classes we take information from the powerpoint and he shows a youtube video to follow. So the class flies by and he ALWAYS lets you out early!

Prof. Osborne is seriously awesome. His class is a lot of fun and he is always cracking jokes! I definitely recommend taking him for music because he knows that most people take it just as a gen ed. so he makes it really really easy. He likes students with good attendance, but its not a boring class at all. Definitely take him!!!

he is the best teacher at wku. he put his power points on blackboard. everything on the test is italic or bold on his power points. he tells u exactly whats on the test. u have to write only 2 one-page reports about 2 performances u attend and he grades them very easy. unfortunately, he won't teach any more. spring 2010 is the last semester he taught at wku

Justin Osborne was the best professor I've ever had. Everything he does is on powerpoint. He reviews what to study the class before the test. He requires two concert reports, however, he played classical guitar and let that count as one. He's an amazing guitar player too. He also drops your lowest test grade, so if you do well on all your tests, you don't have to take the final. He'll also let you take your final early if need be. He takes attendance everyday and if you miss often, he'll make your test more difficult. He's an awesome professor and I'd recommend him to ANYONE who wants to take Music Appreciation. He makes class interesting and he's not bad to look at either:)

Osborne, made this class very interesting and I learned a lot from taking this. He uses PowerPoints and tells you exactly what to study. Attendance is taken daily and if he notices lots of people not showing up he will make the tests harder for the NO SHOW people. (He won't review the next class for the people that no showed) 2 Concert Essays. EASY. Too bad Spring 2010 is his last semester at WKU. Rumor is he is leaving due to pay reasons. He will be greatly missed. He is a really good Classical Guitar Player.

Osborne is great. Has everything on PowerPoint. Reviews before tests. You only have to do 3 Concerts and he grades very easy. The only thing he does REQUIRE is NO talking or texting while in class!! He knows the majority of the students taking this class are there for Gen Ed requirements and does not take it seriously like some of the other instructors. HE IS A GREAT INSTRUCTOR!! Plays the classical guitar extremely well.

This is quite possible the easiest college class I have EVER taken. Osborne is hilarious and super nice. He's always willing to work with you and even let me do a test at a later date when I was going to be out of town. You'd have to be trying to fail his class to do badly.
Oh, and he's adorable and his voice sounds like Ewan McGregor's!
