Western Kentucky University / L / Jon A. Lewis

I have not seen any good reviews on Dr. Jon Lewis so I thought I would leave him one. Dr. Lewis is oneof my favorite teachers. I took him for Bus Entrepren. and a management course. His class is very boring and hs tests can be confusing, but if you are in class he tells you what is on them. He grades fairly too. He is a very understanding teacher and he makes effort to get to know his students. Take him if you have a chance.

The test are very difficult. I felt you not only needed to know what was in the book but also the notes the instructor gave that were not in the book. He talked over my head a lot so I left each class confused. I took my notes and the book, combined and rewrote new notes to study. I spent a lot of time on this class. He does not give all "A"s as some believe and don't plan on an easy "A". You must know the material!

Mr. Lewis needs to take a supervisory management and higher education class before he teaches another class. He does not follow what is supposed to be taught according to the book. What the book says is wrong? He does teach from the book but adds a lot more notes that do not make sense unless you have been in the military or work in a factory. Yes, he does curse but apologizes constantly for it. In his words, he has "no patience for stupid people". If I knew everything, I would not need to take his class!!!! Most everyone in the class stressed the entire semester. Personally, I got a better grade than I thought I deserved. He must curve grades in the end!

Dr. Lewis is an absolute joke! His lectures don't make sense. He doesn't utilize the book and it is a waste of money to purchase this required text. His tests are worded very poorly and they don't even match his lectures. He is very disorganized... cusses like a sailor..... and needs to take some teacher education classes before going back into the classroom.
