Western Kentucky University / K / John E. Kessell

This was an okay class... yes it was interesting at times. But dr kessell is kind of a "hott mess" when it comes to keeping things organized in class. We ended up having a lot less quizzes than specified, discussions that had nothing to do with the upcoming tests, and he mentioned some assignments the first day of class and didnt mention them again until he was taking them up for a grade. Its an easy class if you keep up with stuff on your own.

This course is basically a GPA booster--you have to work at NOT getting an A. Dr. Kessell is very helpful and interesting. Assignments include writing up a couple of interviews (he provides the questions) and an opinion paper, all just a couple of pages. There are a few quizzes and two exams that comprise the questions from the preceding quizzes. If you have perfect attendance and an A in the class, you need not take the comprehensive final exam. I rated this course OK rather than good because some of us actually expect to be presented with challenges in school, and I think given the subject matter this could be a much more interesting class.

This class is a little boring but extemely easy. Write down the few notes he gives on power point because you can use them on your quizzes. He also assigns two interviews and a one page paper do your work and you'll get an A. He has a student assistant that takes role but if you miss you can usually talk her into changing it. If you have close to an A with no absences you don't have to take the final. Also I heard him telling others that if they came to the final he would automatically raise their grade a letter. Take Kessell he's very understanding and gives easy grades.

Ag 108 was one of my favorite classes so far at WKU. He offers a lot of extra credit which boosted my grade from a B to an A. Do all of the extra credit because it will pay off in the end. The tests are pretty easy if you just pay attention in class and look over the powe point slides. Read the book because some questions come from his readings. His attendance policy is great. You don't have to come to class but if you come every time then you're exempt from the final which is what I did and it's one less thing to worry about! Great class to take, I would reccomend to anyone!

This class was awesome! I learned alot and i didn't have to take the final!!!! if you had perfect attendence you didn't have to take the final. All of the notes are on the web so you can print them after the class is over.
