I will admit that Mrs.Brown is a good teacher, but her communication skills are awful. She can be very rude at times for no reason. She also has a tendency to talk down to her students, and if you ever have a meeting with her, she will spend most of the time talking about herself. She talks about herself and her life a lot!

I had Professor Brown for both Physical and World Geography. I had been told by other students not to take her, but I have found that I enjoy her class. She is definitely a "lecture" professor - meaning that most of her class is for taking notes, but every thing is relevant to the tests. She tells you what to study for each test and gives extra credit opportunities. There is a relatively high amount of homework in her class, but if you do it, you will pass the tests.
Basically, if you don't want to work for your grade, then don't take her, but if you are willing to put a little bit of effort into your class, then go ahead.

Mrs. Brown is overall not a bad teacher to take. You do have to study for all her test but if you put in the effort and actually study you should do just fine. She also had Vocab quizes and Discussion boards you have to do, which are not hard at all. She is overall a pretty good teacher.

Hard to study for test in this class. There is some out of class activity that takes place. Attendence isn't mandatory but she does give some in class activities that can't be made up. Class isn't all that hard just the test because you really don't know what to study for.

Ms. Brown is spunky, and she is a really nice human. As long as you study, the class should be no problem.

I thought Mrs. Brown was a really good instructor. The tests came straight from the notes and all the place locations were matching, not fill in the blank. If you are happy with your grade, you don't even have to take the final. If you need a Category E course, I would definitely recommend this class!

This teacher is really hardcore geography, so if you are not, then I would not take her. I had her for a night class and she kept us the whole time. We missed one class because of a tornado and she was mad, and said that we could have had class in the basement! You will have to take a butt load of notes and fill out blank maps, which are not that bad but take time. If you want to have the most boring class in the world then take this teacher.

Where to start... Attendance: Do not miss Jill Brown's classes! You will get very far behind. She gives notes for the entire class period. I had her in a night class and she rarely let us go early. The maps are stressful too, but they are really the only things that you can count being on the test. We missed some classes at the end (we were supposed to get hit by a tornado) and Mrs. Brown was mad about it- she said "we could have had class in the basement" . It was really crazy. She isn't a horrible teacher, but if you have a tendency to fall asleep in class, you should probably take someone else.

Wonderful teacher who is always willing to help. If you show up for class and take the notes given, you will do just fine in this class. A difficult subject for me but with this professors way of teaching I was able to get an A in the class. I would highly recommend this professor for this subject.

Easy class. Has 6 projects during the semester. She drops the lowest one. So you really just have to do 5. Tests are easy if you study.

Although Mrs. Brown seems to have difficulty communicating with her students sometimes, the class is easy enough as long as you take the notes that she writes on the board. There is one project, but it is really easy. Other assignments include filling out maps. The bottom line: take this class if you just want to get your cultural diversity gen. ed. requirement out of the way, but not if you want an in-depth, challanging class.
