The class is boring sometimes but Mrs. Prerost is really nice. She's good about people turning in late work if they miss a day. The test are very easy.

I highly recommend Jeanette Prerost, she is the greatest. If you have to take a reading class, take her. She is excited about what she does, she cares about the students, and she tries to make the class fun for everyone. You can also acquire study skills in this class that will help you in other classes. Be prepared to meet everyone in the class the first night. Lots of little tests, homework, and classwork. NOTE: you can test out of this class by taking the reading part of the accuplacer at the south campus.

TAKE PREROST if you have to take college reading strategies... At first I did not want to take this class or anything but it ended up being my favorite just because it actually does help you learn test taking skills and stuff that you will use in other classes... Her test are quite difficult but the easy vocabulary quizzes each week will help your grade so much... In this class, you hardly take any notes because most of the class is just her talking out loud and the class responding at times... hope all of this helps...

Ms. Prerost is a nice teacher and she tries her hardest to make the class fun. I would suggest you take her reading class, if you have to take one, because I heard the other reading teachers are extremely hard. Ms. Prerost atleast attempts to make class fun.
