I HIGHLY recommend taking Mr. Justice's class, there is a lot of open class discussion about topics in today's society. Mr. Justice broke his lecture down to where anyone could understand it. The only downside is that my class talked about Black-White issues a lot. I know that it is important and should be talked about, but I would like to compare other cultures as well.

This class was a great class to start off my freshman year. Justice was a layed back guy who often let us out of class early b/c he would be parked illegally. If you take a long time on your tests and ask him a question about a problem on the test he will pretty much tell you the answer to the question. the final was a debate, so if you attened and participated then u passed the final. The text is not mandatory but I would recommend it and reading it before the tests. Extra Credit is given if you attend to on campus debates that are held outside of class. I would adivse taking this class with Justice.

ok i hate mr. justice. he is such a looser. going to class wearing a bandanna. if mr. justice can graduate from WKU they must have gave him his grades. he is a bad influence and a horrible teacher. well, excuse me for saying teacher b/c he is not really a teacher. he was an athlete that sucked so he couldnt go pro. if ur a white female and your hottt you need to take his course and you'll recieve an A if ur a black female or a white male dont take his class you wont be curved. i personally think he is an old racist that needs to get the past out of his head. AND WHAT KIND OF TEACHER TELLLS HIS STUDENTS THAT HE SMOKES WEED?????? MR. justice your a bad influence.

I would highly recommend this class to anyone. It is very easy, all you have to do to pass is just show up pretty much. He does a review for every test, if u show up for that and take notes the class is cake. And oh yea the final is the easiest final i think i have ever taken! You get extra credit if you show up on fri. and a lot of people don't.

Justice is an interesting teacher. He makes class interesting, there is alot of class discussion and offers extra credit. I recomend this class highly, but you need to read the book ahead of class so you can participate in the discussion.

Justice you did not need to go into the teaching profession if ur not going to teach. Some people like to learn stuff when they come to class. I dont think you have a clear understanding of sociology. Did you get your degree from a cracker jack box? You need to go back to texas. justice ur a bad influence on students!! and saying "holla" everyday dosent make u a ganster. it makes u look really stupid.

Ja'Shard was by far the coolest teacher I've ever had in my life. He knows what he's talking about when he's lecturing (if you can call it a "lecture"). You don't really have to take a single note, just follow along in the book while he's talking and highlight because he goes in the same order as the book. The tests are harder than you'll expect, so read the information AROUND the highlighting as well. He gives a ton of extra credit, especially if you come on Friday's. It's been said once, and I'll say it again...he's also extremely hot.

I loved professor Justice's teaching style. His class was very laid back and interesting. The lectures usually included class discussions. There are MANY oppourtunities for extra credit, sometimes just showing up for class on a friday will get a few extra points on your test grade. He goes over everything that will be on the test so you know exactly what to study. I absolutely recommend taking him for this class!

I absolutely loved this class. However, my love for this class had nothing to do with sociology. There was alot of discussion in the class over sociology however most of it was not information that we would find on the test. In order to make it through this class you have to read the book and pay attention during review (he tells you everything to study). He also grades on a major curve (and I'm talking anywhere from 15-20 points). This is one of those classes that even though you can miss it you don't want to because it is so entertaining. Jay will even let you out early, and I mean early like thirty to forty minutes early. Overall the class is a wonderful addition to any schedule. I also forgot to mention that Jay is also quite attractive.

While I did learn alot from this course and the professor is cool it was difficult to learn from lectures alone because of classroom distractions (his daughter). Often after the class was over I found myself looking at my notes and cross referencing with my book. But the teacher was very laid back and fun and made the class interesting and was very flexible in working with students.

Mr. Justice is new and his teaching style has not yet been defined. He tries to get everyone to interact during class discussions and I feel like by doing this, we don't cover any of the material on the test. He teaches a fun class, but if you are taking this to learn something, find someone else.

Jay, which is what he told us to call him is very easy. The only test we've taken so far was the one on-line about the library. We get out of class early EVERY time. We didn't even read the book that was "assigned" to us (Tuesdays with Morrie) instead we watched the movie. He is very down to earth. He also teaches intro to sociology.

Be prepared to learn through the text book.. Justice is an amazing guy, hes very cool and laid back, but i really didnt learn anything through his lectures. I learned most of the material by reading. The tests were fairly hard depending on how much you read of the chapter.

i think this course could have been more interesting than what he made it be. i was thinking about majoring in sociology unill i had justice. Dont get me wrong i think he is a very nice person and teacher, he just dont teach very well.... you have to read everthing on your own and dosent explain very well the test!! but overall he is a nice guy.... he will give u extra credit if you get in trouble with your grade.
