Be careful in this class - the play review sheet is NOT what you need to go by for your play reviews. Look at the teacher's rubric for grading. These are very different.
If you do what it says on the rubric and separate out each question, you should do OK. This teacher doesn't have time to read your essay to see if you answered the questions any other way.
The exam questions are very difficult - some questions are entirely opinion questions, with more than one answer that could be correct.
Also: this teacher only has a short period you can call her on the phone and can't be reached otherwise.
A hard class, and the tests are killer, but if you have to take it, make sure to follow written directions and come to class every time.

Jackie is an excellent teacher and relates to her students really well. She was always doing extra work on her own time to help us out. She kept us posted with our grades, so we could do something to change them, if necessary. The tests weren't hard for me. You just need to listen, study your notes, and never leave anything blank. Our final project of acting out a French Scene turned out to be a lot of fun. The prompt book is the hardest thing to do and it is just a matter of organization. The class is required for some majors, but if you have a choice this is a fun class to take.
