He is a very boring teacher, he is almost retired. But one good thing is that all his notes are on the internet, they are word for word and you will do fine without having to take any notes.
The web site is...

exam2
exam3
exam4
etc.

His tests are very straight-forward, he tells you exactly what to study. Sometimes he gets a bit off-subject and lectures get a little drawn-out, but overall he's a really good teacher. I would take his class again, given the chance.

It was of course a History class with lecure, but he made it as interesting as he could with pictures of where he has been and different tapes. The bonus of the class is that he has a webpage that has the notes from lecture, therefore, you don't even really need to take any notes for yourself. Also I liked how the test were not all essay questions. He was very organized and the class was good overal:)

This is a HISTORY class, people. It's going to be all lecture! Yes, there are a lot of notes for this class, but not as many as you may think. The lectures are told in an interesting manner, and much of what is said in lecture is not needed for testing. You will not need to know specific dates. This class does not delve deeply into military history. You will have no homework except for your current events journal. This assignment will be given at the beginning of the semester and will be due at the end. Class attendance is a must (and that sleeping in class comment is a killer-PLEASE! If you sleep in class, you don't have to be penalized - you're going to fail the tests!) Starting in Spring 2002, there is a website hosting notes for the class. As lectures change some from semester to semester, I would suggest only using those notes in the future for emergencies (missed classes) and be sure to discuss them with someone (to make sure you have all the major points).

Mrs. Dillingham is a wonderful teacher. After every short story, poem, or play that we read, she reviewed the material and made sure that we understood it. Her tests are not very difficult, either. Especially since 80% of the test is made by the students. I would advice anyone to take her for this class.

I think he is a very nice man and I found this class to be very enjoyable and interesting. Is it a lot of notes? - yes. Do you need to attend class? - yes. Is he a bad teacher? - no. He taught material in a very storylike manner. He was personable and kind to students...the person who said he is a bastard must be a bitter meanie!

Dr.Dillingham is a retired teacher that is not labeled in the bulletin. He just teaches a class here and there when they need him to feel in the empty positions. He's very old fashion and you will have a lot of homework. You have to keep up w/ a journel of current events. His tests are hard and he counts off major points for sleeping in class. I will have to say he can be interesting, but I still wouldn't recommend him. You won't know if you have him or not if you registered w/ staff for a teacher until the first day.
