DO NOT TAKE HER FOR THIS CLASS!! I am a straight A student. I had a perfect 4.0 gpa unti lI took her class. I worked my butt off to get the work done and when I asked her for help, she took forever to get back to me and then when she finally replied she wasn't any help at all. She sucks as an educator. She gave me multiple zeros for work that I did on time and worked hard on. When I confronted her about the poor grades she gave me, she completely ignored my email. She is god awful. Avoid her class like the plague.

First of all this is an English class. I know in high school you could sometimes get away with not reading and basically just being there to get a good grade. But in college you HAVE to read and write in English that's what an English class is which is why I don't like English but you have to have it to graduate. With that said Dr. Weixel is an amazing teacher. You do have to read a lot every day and keep a journal entry because she takes 10 up randomly but the books and stories she picks are not boring. You mostly just discuss everything you read the day before in the class. She is very helpful and makes you think about the way the world works in a different way. I love her and I hate English.
