Derek is the bomb.com. He's a super sweetheart. He's a grad student and taught the entire class. My class was on Wednesday's only, supposedly from 12:40-2 something. We never, not once, stayed the entire time. The lab manual is online so there's no need to buy a book. There is a quiz at the beginning of each class period over the lab from the week before. Super simple, just a few questions. You do virtual labs and turn them in; even if you get several answers wrong he still always gives full credit. You can ask him a TON of questions and he doesn't get mad. He literally guides you through every lab and makes sure you understand what you're doing. You get 100 just for trying. I loved this class. I would definitely recommend him to ANYONE. He's amazing. :)
