Dr. Strahley is a wonderful teacher! He is tough at first, but eases up as the school year progresses. He likes to give weekly quizes up until the mid-term, then he gets easier. If you do well on the mid-term, he allows you to miss the final. There are also three papers you have to write for your portfolio. He grades tough, but if you go to class and listen, you'll be fine! If you are wanting an easy class, this isn't it. If you want a class that is fun and one that you can learn from, this is it! As long as you do your weekly reading, you'll be fine! Good luck!

Dr. Strahley used many different methods of teaching to allow everyone to learn from him. We read the chapter before we came to class because there would be a quiz each week. It was multiple choice, fill in the blank, and true-false. We had a midterm and a final that was optional if you were satisfied with your midterm grade. It was all essay questions from the lecture notes. We had 3 papers to write about psychology aspects in teaching throughout the semester. He worked with us very well and was a pleasure to meet. I would advise anyone to take his class and learn as much as you can from him. He really is an intelligent human being.

There were things happen I did not like. We were assigned seats; I don't think college students should be told where to sit. If the class did poorly on a paper, the entire class got a lecture. I didn't like that, either. That aside, class was interesting. Dr. Strahley is a very intelligent man, and he forced us to think about things in different ways than we were used to. If you are willing to work and work hard, this is a good class. If you aren't willing to put a lot of effort in this class, look for another professor. That said, the final and midterm weren't actually that difficult, IF you came and participated in class.

Dr.Strahley is the BEST teacher I have ever had in 15 years of school! He knows what he is talking about, however; he understands you usually don't. I am not a really smart person, but he sure made me feel like I was. I take him every chance I get! You couldn't ask for a better teacher!!!
