Dr. DiMeo is one of the most effective language professors I've encountered. His class was a pleasure, and every day is a worthwhile learning experience. Regardless of your level, learning abilities, or learning style, DiMeo is flexible and finds a way to work toward the education of all his students. Tests are well constructed and reflect actually using the language rather than rehashing memorized phrases. You will practice reading, speaking, writing, and listening equally, and he is goofy enough and fun enough that you never feel awkward or silly even if you mess up. I highly recommend him to anyone pursuing Arabic language and culture. :)
