GREAT teacher. She is very fun and her class is not too hard. All test are open book and fairly easy. For the next semester (fall 2008) I don't think she is going to have the test open book but the class still will probably be fairly easy. she is overall a great teacher.

Dr. Snyder is a wonderful lady and a great teacher. Dr.snyder knows what she is talking about and can teach you a lot if you let her. I have had her for interviewing, Field practicum and HUBSE I all of her styles in each of these classes are the same. She is a great listener and if you tell her something be prepared to talk about that issue the rest of the semester! She means well by this but it is not always in your best interest! NEVER miss an exam because you will not be able to make it up (Even if you are sick).

I loved this class. Dr. Snyder is a wonderful professor and very knowledgeable in this area. She is an English major so she will grade your papers accordingly. She truly wants her students to learn about the behavior of people and why they act the way they do and teaches compassion for all humans. If you are in the Social Work program you will obviously have to take her, but if you love what you are doing, she will make the experience a wonderful one.

Dr. Synder's courses are all easy. She does give an overkill of notes, however, they are usually on blackboard so not a lot of writing required on the students behalf. My advice is go to Mass Media to print. She gets off subject easily and loves to talk about SEX. Don't tell her anything personal because she will discuss your business in class, although not intentionally. So eMbArAsSiNg!!! Also some writing is required on Exams. She won't let you retake any Exams. Go to class.

Dr. Snyder is a wonderful professor. She is very knowledgeable and makes class very interesting and fun. Your grade is based on two exams, a mentoring experience, a student interview, and a videotaped interview. There is also a take home quiz due every class. The material is not difficult but you do learn a lot of valueable information. This is a very educational course to take.
