I LOVE THIS CLASS!!!! I HATE public speaking, but with Chris it is SO much fun. My last speech was even over duct tape! How great is that. Chris is SO funny, and you can definatly be youself with him in your speeches. He doesn't grade really hard on speeches, but definatly not easy either. For tests, he gives you a study guide. Whatever is on that is exactly whats on the test. He is a great guy and knows his stuff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

this class was a great class for me. i'm not much of a speaker and he made it relaxing and easy for me to get up there. he's a very funny guy and has such a wide range of intelligence. he tells you exactly what will be on the test and final.

Public Speaking is something we all have to endure. With Chris, it's so much fun. What is really bland information becomes interesting, hilarious, and involving. The tests are a breeze. The speeches are a bit more difficult, but you'll quickly get a feel for what is expected. Anyone who truly applies his or her self won't get a bad grade in this course. Recommended.

Chris is great. His tests were easy and took about 20-30 minutes to take, and he even provided a study guide. He required 4 speeches and 3 exams. He can be tough when grading your speeches; he coaches the forensics team, so he knows his stuff. This class was fun and he was hilarious. TAKE THIS COURSE WITH CHRIS!!!

Chris Grove is a poor version of Doug Mory. His classroom insight always seems to be just a little too rehearsed. Its as if he was just repeating someone else's analysis. Moreover, he speaks with an incoherent French accent. If you want a good COMM teacher, take Professor Mory instead (and he is much better looking).

By far the best teacher I've had while at WKU. He is smart, funny, and just overall really cool. Very easy to relate too.

Chris Groves was by far THE BEST teacher I have had while at Western. He relates to students very well, and also is very open minded. I learned a lot from his class without feeling overly pressured or stressed. He has an awesome sense of humor, too! I was never good at speaking in front of people, but this class helped me a lot. Chris was the best teacher I've had at Western so far.... He was very laid back about everything in class, and let you be yourself w/ your speeches... Trust me and take him.

Chris Grove is an alright Professor, but I think that if you make good with him he is a little easier on you than others. Study for the quizes, he gives a study guide with everything on it before the tests. He is pretty good.

Chris Grove is one of the best teachers I have ever taken. He's really cool and is pretty easy. You should take the class.
