Charles Jones is a WONDERFUL teacher. His teaching method is so laid back and he is so easy to understand. Most would think that art appreciation would be a boring class but he makes it exciting and fun. He takes attendance each class. You can miss up to five before your grade drops a letter grade but he just sends a piece of paper around the room for attendance because the class is so big. So you could easily have someone sign your name if you needed to miss. He puts all the notes on blackboard and you just print them out. The class before the test he has a test review with the whole class and then after class says if anyone wants extra help or has questions about the material stay after class and he literally gives you EVERY SINGLE ANSWER. People are dumb enough to leave but seriously he is the type of teacher who wants to help his students succeed. LOVED HIS CLASS.

So easy. I hardly ever went to class. If you know someone in the class, have them sign you in. He posts all notes to BB and as long as you go on the da before the test he will tell you exactly what you need to know straight from the pre printed notes. It is impossible to get anything less than an A as long as you study the notes. He even allows 5 unexcused absences, but like I said, if you have someone sign you in he will never know the difference

Art 100 is an easy was to satisify one of your category B electives, and Mr. Jones is a great teacher to take for it. He is a super nice guy and you can tell he truly loves and understands art. For this class, all the powerpoints are on blackboard, but you have to go to class becuase he give you information that you will need to know for the tests. Attendance isn't completely manditory, you are allowed to miss up to 5 classes before your grade starts dropping. Anyway, you have 4 tests (the 4th one being the final), and they are all easy, but you do need to do some studying in order to get an A. I would recommend Art 100 with Jones to anyone. The only thing that I would complain about is that the class can be boring and can really drag on if you take it TR, so if possible I would take it on MWF.

This was the easiest college course I have taken so far. All the tests were multiple choice and were directly from the notes. Attendance isn't required but if you don't come to class you won't get the notes. I made a 100 on every test and always studied the night before. Also the textbook is not required! Professor Jones is funny and very nice and keeps you entertained. If you want an easy class take him!!!

This was my facebook creeping class. He is such an easy teacher to take. The notes he goes over in class are on blackboard to print out and all the tests come from the notes. Attendance is mandatory though.

Professor jones is the man funny,Laid back and easy to talk to. I have heard stories of a female art prof who is a total wack job. Take jones you wont regret it,oh you get 5 absents after that each one counts as 5 points off your grade.4 exams all slides pretty simple.

He is a pretty cool guy, and he makes the class interesting. Your grade is four test. The final only covers the material since the test before it. As long as you go to class and pay attention it should be very easy to pass. If you take notes and study a little right before each test you have a good chance of makeing 100% on the tests.

This class was really easy. All you do is come to class watch a powerpoint and take notes over it. We always got out early. Also you don't need the textbook you can just print his powerpoints off of blackboard to study with. His tests were really easy. He didn't have an attendance policy but I would suggest going to class becuase he does not post the notes only the pictures on blackboard and he tests over his notes! Also if there is a day when a lot of people don't show up to class he will give extra credit for being there.

I took this class on the summer session. On Westerns website, it says the class began at 7:30. After the first day, he told us to get there at 8:00. On most days, we weren't there for more than 2 hours. You can print all the notes off blackboard. Almost all of the only 4 test is matching art with an artist. Besides the test, you have one project to complete. He says it will "make you or break you." Aka if your borderline, you get the higher grade if you do well on the project. It's extremely easy for a gen ed class--take advantage of it.

This class was really easy. All of the notes are on blackboard and the tests are directly from the notes. I would always just study right before the test and I made an A. I would definetely take him. He is also really funny and witty. Definetely makes the class fun.
