This was the worst online class I've never had, not because of the material, but because of the professor. If you can read a Chemistry textbook and memorize it with no outside help, I'm sure you'll do great in this class. I know it was an online class, but she could have been a lot more helpful. If you can't see what you got wrong on a quiz or test, how are you supposed to know what to study?? She said she's worried about cheating and that's why we can't see our answers, but I'm worried about what to study! Sounds like a cop out for a lazy teacher who won't make multiple questions so her students can actually know what to study. The material wasn't all that difficult and I'm sure if you had actual lecture videos to watch or a little more guidance, it would be fine, but in this class, you are on your own.

I took this course online. Should have gotten an A but she doesn't show you the answers to the exams after she grades them so for all you know she marked it wrong and you got it right. Wouldn't advise taking her.

Do not take her!!! I had two different tutors for this class one who majored in Chemistry and the other one dental hygenist. I studied hard for all the test. I did the book homework and home supplements(which isnt even for a grade). Your grade is just blackboard quizzes and tests.

Mrs. Skipworth is a really great teacher in every way!!! Although chemistry is not exactly a fun class, she is willing to help and will meet with you outside of class if need be. Also, all notes are provided on Blackboard, you will just have to fill in a few blanks. All the tests are multiple choice and she even has review days! Take her if you want a good teacher!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Skipworth is awesome!!! She teaches by outline, so there are a lot of notes, but all are useful. Do not miss class! You will use your book in this class. If you do the homework and the take home practice tests, you will do fine. If you don't understand something, she will work with you until you get it. I highly recommend this class (and have) to everyone needing this credit.

I disagree with the negative post on here about Mrs. Skipworth. I am taking her right now, and I think she is a great teacher. I will admit, there are a lot of notes, but she gives such concise notes, that if you study them you should do really well on the tests. I have not even read and entire chapter of the textbook, but with only a month and a half left in the semester, I have an A average. She gives extra credit with little group races with problem solving, and each semester, she celebrates mole day. Just for sewing together a little stuffed mole from a pattern she gives you, you get 10 extra credit points. It boosted my grade from a 93 to a 96 average! She is also always in a good mood and a real nice lady. I recommend taking her.

She was basically the book. This class was too long, an hour and 30 minutes of pure lecture. I couldn't wait for class to be over. I just took it for the four credits it has. My advice is that if you have to take this class, don't take this teacher and make sure a lab is included in the class or it is a waste of time. Tests were extremely hard. I feel like the learning environment made me not want to try my best. I failed most of my tests.
