I've heard this guy was awesome to take in class.
Not so much online.
You have only 3 tests as your grade, so if you bomb one, you really have no chance to do well. How are your matching skills? They better be impeccable.
In his videos, he goes over just a few of the cases, and he doesn't tell you to look up the rest of them. Studyblue was my friend on the second test.
Granted, I didn't study the first two tests until the night before the exam. It bit me on the first test, not so much the second test.
The instructor didn't correspond with the students at all. Not one email...up to this point.
I believe he words the tests to confuse you, but as long as you have an ounce of intelligence, you can see through the wording...
I'd probably recommend taking this class not online.

Sullivan is hilarious!! His classes definitely weren't boring.There wasnt one day that he didnt have the whole class laughing. I took this as a bi-term class we had three tests including the final that was not cumulative and that was it. His tests werent the easiest. Study the notes AND the book if you want to get an A.Sullivan was great i would recommend him.

Sullivan is the bomb, literally one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is HILARIOUS and keeps the class lively, the material is quite interesting as well. By NO means is this class easy, you need to go to class, take notes, pay attention and study. I had a blast in this class, and i kind of really miss it. I was scared of having a bi-term, but this was awesome! Love this guy. TAKE HIM IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!

He is a great teacher to take for this course. I took it online and didn't really have to do much. The textbook I had didn't match his outline for readings so I never read, but as long as you watch his video lectures you will be fine. He also has a review video for each test so as long as you know all the material on that you should get an A or B on each of the 3 tests.

Dr. Sullivan is an awesome teacher. He keeps you interested in the subject he is lecturing on because of his funny voices and stories. I will sdmit that it is sometimes tough to go to the class because attendance is not required, but overall he made the classes fun. I would tell you to really study the cases as there will be plenty on every test, but test are only 50-60 questions at most and are pretty simple. TAKE HIM. Good Luck!

Dr. Sullivan is a great teacher! He does not require that you come to class, but it will do you a favor. Plus, he is really funny and never keeps the class the whole time. He knows what he is teaching and allows for a considerable amount of very helpful notes. The class before every test he does a review and basically covers everything that will be on his test. It was a great class. Easy and still learned alot from it!

Mr.Sullivan is hilarious. I enjoyed coming to his class. He always makes class fun and tells interesting stories. The only grades in the class are 3 tests. You need to go to class & take good notes to do good on the test. The first one is def the easiest..but they seem to get harder. He loves to put matching on his test..so be careful with those. Overall the class was fun, and not that hard.

This is the one course this semester I didn't mind attending. Dr. Sullivan is entertaining while doing a good job covering business law. You need to go to class and take notes or highlight the book. His test questions come from what he covers in class and he does skip some parts of the chapters. Also, he sometimes gives you details that aren't in the book.
He rarely kept us the entire period and the classes seemed to get shorter during the second half of the semester. He also cancelled a few classes while he went out of town.
There are only three tests with each counting one third of the grade. The last test only covers the last third of the class, it's not a comprehensive final. No quizzes, research papers, or homework. Go to class and study for the tests and you should make an A or B.

The only reason the class is difficult is because your whole grade is from 3 tests. It used to be just 2. Sullivan is an awesome teacher and is definately entertaining to listen to. Seeing as he is the only teacher for this class, you have to take him. Just study hard for tests and enjoy the class. He is equally offensive to everyone (religion, denomination, etc.). It is quite humorous.

Sullivan is so hilarious and politically incorrect. He always lightens up the class with his attempts at accents (usually southern) and random jokes that are just wrong. He also usually lets class out early, which is always nice.
However, his tests can be difficult. There are only 3 and that is all the points you receive in the class. There are no other quizzes or assignments, so study hard for the tests. Go to class everyday, take good notes, GO TO THE REVIEW SESSION (the class period before a test), study the night before, and you should do just fine.

This was a great class. Sullivan is hilarious, I've never had a teacher like him before. I took it in the winter term, and we got out early everyday and a couple of days we did not have class. He is very interesting and I really enjoyed listening to him. The tests are not hard, just make sure you take good notes. Sometimes you don't know when to take him seriously, but he is really a nice guy.

Dr. Sullivan is a very funny guy and knows what he is talking about. You never know when to take him serious or not but his test are never as hard as he makes them out to be. If you miss a class you miss a lot of notes. Some stuff comes out of the book but most of it comes from his head. Take good notes and pay attention and you will make a good grade in the class. I spent about 2 hours per test studying and made an A in the class. I recommend taking him. I learned quite a bit and still had fun in the class.

I absolutely loved this class!! Dr. Sullivan is outright hilarious and makes you laugh the entire time. He is the funniest teacher I have ever had.
I barely got a B and yes I did study. You only have two grades in this class which kinda does stink in in a way but then again you only have to work hard two times out of the semester so its not a bad trade off. If you show up listen and try to take good notes and I HIGHLY recommend going to the review sessions for both the midterm and the final because a large portion of the material is on the actual test.
The way I studied is I made up note cards for everything he mentioned in the review and I studied additional things I left in my notes. All in all a great class id recommend him.

Dr. Sullivan is freakin' CRAZY!!.....but a good professor. I can't even begin to describe class. I never knew what to expect from him. Class consisted of arriving with a reading assignment completed of case studies from our book. We would then either discuss them in class as a group or each person would present one to the class. My class had about 14 people in it and was in a conference room by the deans office. He usually will let you out a little early, but most students would have been fine to stay the whole time as he is a theatrical production in himself.

Well, let me give you a preview of how the semester started. On the first day of class, Mr. Sullivan was cussing at students telling them to get in, sit down so he could call role, and he could get out of class! LOL He never has a dull moment in his classroom and he is ONE OF A KIND. I have never had a teacher like him before. You basically have a midterm and final. The final is comprehensive and really they are not hard. He will tell you they are extremely hard, and you will be lucky to pass, but he is just bullshitting with ya. You will love his class, and he will keep you on the tips of your toes. You will never guess what he will say next...we discussed the donkey incident a lot, gay action in prison, the president, etc. This class is not as bad as I had thought it was going to be, and I definitely recommend it.

This class is not extremely hard but you do need to study. I would take another professor because he only has two tests and no extra credit is given out. If you have an 89.9 forget it he's not going to give you the A even if you do have perfect attendance or whatever. There are other teachers out there that are better than this guy.

Sullivan is a fantastic teacher. He is funny, and I think he really makes the class interesting. He is never on time, he's usually about 5-10 minutes late for class, and we never stay the entire time. If you're looking for an interesting class, take Sullivan. Granted, I was interested in the material anyways, but he does make it fun. He only gives 2 tests, a mid-term thats 40% and a cumaltive final thats 60%. YOu have to study for his tests, and you're only allowed 2 absences.

If you are looking for an interesting teacher, take Sullivan. He makes the class interesting, and I actually look forward to going to that class. You're only allowed 2 absences, so be careful. You only have 2 tests in there, a mid-term worth 40% and a final worth 60%. You usually get out of class early, vary rarely are you there the entire time. I reccomend him. He makes the class enjoyable.

This class was pretty tough because all you have for grades are one midterm worth 40% and one final (cumulative) worth 60%. So messing up on either is very bad for your grade. At first I liked it because he made a lot of jokes, but then it became annoying because he was always smarting off. He's on a big ego trip and thinks he can do whatever he wants because he was a lawyer. It's nice to not have homework everyday but this class was not easy.

The only reason that I chose difficult is due to the fact that there are only 2 tests, no homework or extra-credit grades and b/c there are a lot of facts to memorize. Dr. Sullivan is an awesome prof. He is entertaining and he knows the subject well (he co-authored the book he uses.) He reviews prior to the tests and lets you know what to expect. I enjoyed this class and the Prof. very much. I would definitely recommend him and I would take him again.

Brian Sullivan is a hilarious guy and he makes this class very interesting. There is no homework and only 2 tests, a midterm and final, so thats where your grade comes from. Don't let that scare you because the tests are not that hard if you come to every class and take notes. He also gives pretty good review sessions before the tests. An A is easy to achieve in this class. I didnt really study for the final so I recieved a B, studying is the key.

Mr. Sullivan is a great guy, his class is very fun and interesting, because he makes it that way. He always has something funny to say, or some joke to tell. I think Dr. Sullivan is great although he is a bit odd! He makes the class really interesting, and he has a great sense of humor. His exams are very thorough, but if you read the text and study you shouldn't have much of a problem. He always reviews before the exam, and that was always very helpful. We only had three tests and if we were satisfied with our grade at that point the final was optional. Your final grade comes from exams only...no assignments or extra credit is given, so study hard! I would definitely recommend him.

Sullivan has a great sense of humor. You have to memorize a ton of court cases and acts but he explains everything well. There is only a midterm, final,and a 3 page paper. Work hard 3 times the entire semester, and you're fine.
