Amy is awesome...she's very understanding and willing to help you with anything!! All you do is write essays, which arent graded too hard, and have a research paper and presentation on the paper due at the end of the semester!

I would highly recommend this English 300 to anyone. She is a great teacher, and I have learned more from her than any of my other English teachers. You have to write several essays and a research paper. Overall she is a wonderful teacher and the class is EASY!

She is terrible, no one should ever take her class. She plays favorites and if you are not one of them...forget it...you will not make a good grade. I do NOT recommend taking this teacher.

Amy Radla is a horrible teacher. I have never recieved a C in my life. She plays favorites. My friend and I wrote our papers together and made many of the same arguments. He always recieved A's while I always got C's. She hates athletes!!! So, if you are an athlete or even look like one stay away.

After leaving the class for the first night you will realize that you are not a student in the classroom, but rather a phychatrist, listening to Amy's problems of a broken marriage, two young boys, and her day job as an elementary teacher. You will learn of her time spent teaching in a very rural environment, her numerous cats, how she prefers skinny men to muscular, ect., ect., ect..
What you will NOT learn is how to write a good paper. Fortunately for you, you will not be required to write a "good" paper, but only one that meets her weak criteria to a T.
If you are looking for some good psychiatry practice, take this class. If not, stay away.

Radla plays favorites big time! I made a decent grade, but only because she liked me. There were students in my class who wrote just like me and made horrible grades. Don't risk it. It's just not worth it.

Professor Radla helped with exploring different types of creative writing. She is (usually) well prepared and organized. Her style of teaching is helpful and can be utilized if you attend class regularly. First she will have you read an example essay, then she will go over the essay in class explaining what to look for and what is important in the essay. Then she will have you write a rough draft for the next class based on that essay. Your rough draft will be evaluated by a peer group. Then after you have had a chance to edit and review what you have written you will be able to turn in your final copy. She expalins what is expected clearly, giving you ample amount of time to ask her questions, there is no way to not recieve an A in her class if you show up and do the work assigned. She is also a very friendly lady.

Although the class was hard at times, when I left I felt very prepared for English 300 and writing essays for my other classes. At times I felt that it was too hard, but looking back, I'm glad she made us do all the stuff she did.

Amy Radla is a terrible teacher. If you've always been a great writer, forget about taking her. I've never made less than an A in all my previous English classes and I received C's on everything in her class. I made distinguished on my senior portfolio and yet I couldn't figure out what she wanted. She'll tell you exactly how to write something, so that's what I did but it never pleased her. This class is not worth the stress, trust me. Don't take her. You'll regret it.

Mrs. Radla is a little off the wall, but her class is easy. For the final, we had to come to class and write a short story, but that was the hardest thing we did all semester. She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit.
