This man is an awesome teacher. He is the best history teacher I have ever had. I like history anyway, but even if you don't I'm sure you will like his classes. I'm taking him again for US History.

Borders is the man. I am a history major, and I have taken tons of courses on the main campus also. Borders was by far the best professor out of them all. Do not let the community college "label" fool you. He is the best, and I promise that you will learn and have fun doing it. Great class. I took him for 2 electives that I did not have to take.

Charles Borders makes learning about history fun. You learn to think about issues from a different perspective. He relates events in an interesting manner. He expects attendance and participation. If you try, he will go the extra mile to help interested students. I enjoyed my required class so much that I voluntarily took another class because he was the instructor. He gets an A +++++ as an instructor. He does require 2 book reports, which is not my favorite thing to do. But if you take his class, you will not be disappointed.

Great teacher, but purpose of class is confusing. Very enthusiastic and deliberate in the way the material is presented. A real great guy that tells stories of WKU from back in the day. I'd almost expect to see him some time up in Cravens with a pizza and a six pack.
