This is one of the easier nursing classes so far, if you can understand her questions on the tests. There were a couple of tests that had questions on material not yet covered, but she will never admit that. The notes are on power point in the course pack and that's about all you need. Nothing much is added to these notes provided, so you won't use much ink writing in this class. She does have a wonderful sense of humor, but you have to like that kind of humor (it's special)! All nursing courses have their perks and tweeks...just hang in there! If there were another instructor to take for this class, then I would suggest doing so, but since there's not....suck it up!

Ms. Byrd is a great teacher. Everyone likes to give her a lot of hassale but she truly is helpful if you have the capability of being an adult and reading some of the material on your own. Some say all she gives is printed out notes without any lecture, which is partially true but that is the way every nursing class is now and people should get used to it. Take her she is great!

she has her notes in the course pack and all she does is read word for word. there is no reason to attend class you already have all the notes and all you got to do is teach yourself and if you are like me that is going to be hard. in clinical she just sit back and watch. she not very helpful. this class could be a good experince if we had a better instructor.
