Carey is a good professor, but not a great one. She is definitely a fair teacher, which I think is very important. However, this class is by no means an easy A. You have to know your notes forwards and backwards and UNDERSTAND concepts, not just memorize definitions and terms. The class was very boring most of the time. But, she does post her notes on blackboard, so you don't have to write everything down. Attendance is not "mandatory", but she does give "in-class assignments" that can only be done if you are actually in class. Plus, if you don't go to class I highly doubt you would do well. Overall, I would recommend Carey.
