Additional Comments
Those bad evaluations are ludicrous. I don't know where they are coming from. I found Mark to be very easy professor. Although attendance isn't mandatory the class is so much fun that I only missed two days. I must admit that he is a smart ass and will make fun of you but just take it with a grain of salt because that's just how he is. If he's a smart ass to you just be one back and he'll get a kick out of it. My class had 3 tests, 14 quizzes, and 9 current event articles. All the quizzes are problem solving. At first he will give you an open-note quiz over the subject and then a close-note one a couple of class meetings later. The articles are super easy and take about 30 minutes to do. For our class he dropped our 4 lowest quizzes and our 3 lowest articles. He has extra credit questions on each test. The test are fairly easy. They consist of about 12-13 definitions (he only counts 10 so you can get some wrong), the problems on the tests are exactly like the ones you get on the quiz, and you have to draw graphs on the tests but they are easy because they are exactly like the ones you do in class. As long as you attend class and take half-ass notes you'll do fine. In my opinion this was an easy class and I actually looked forward to getting a good laugh every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, even if it meant waking up to be there at 10am.
