The class itself is not the problem. It is not hard if you do the work. Dealing with Mr. Dongvillo however was very challenging. Jeff does not seem to connect well with the students and has control issues. In addition to that he's a smartass. He will probably piss you off at least once before the end of the semester ( in my case he pissed me off every week.) You might also want to break his hands when he starts waving them around hollering "FOLKS FOLKS" if he feels he does not have the classes undivided attention. He definately has a personality issue and you might as well not confront him because he will retaliate. This is a required class so you'll just have to deal, but the key to surviving is to sit up straight, don't talk, look directly at him and don't chew gum or he thinks you're talking. Just kiss his ass because he does think he's God.

Jeff is a bit strange. He is very passionate about teaching however he is a bit scatterbrained. I don't know about you but miscommunication with an instructor can make for a difficult class. He is teaching subject matter that should allow you to learn open mindedness, yet he is very set in his mind on how a classroom is to function and that people are all supposed to participate in discussion. I had to take this class or else I would not have....don't do it if you don't have too, it isn't worth it!!

Dognivillo should be fired. He is a horrible instructor and not to mention that he teaches in the MSW program. :( 331 with him was a total pain in my butt. This is the only class that I've ever dreaded going to. The content of the class is easy. Read your text, print all quizes and review them, go to class. He is a prick so you need to stay the entire class time or he'll give extra credit to those students who do stay. I hope that he gets FiReD. He is gay, although Dr. Snyder says openly. He doesn't share this with the class. You have 2 other books that you must buy and read. They are very juvenile. Take some coloring books or crossword books to class.
