Dr. Plummer is a treasure of the WKU history department. Her infinite knowledge of all of history is overwhelming at times, but one grows to appreciate receiving education from such a credible lady. She travels each summer to the places about which she teaches, and is currently even writing a book about marriage in those times. She is entirely interesting, highly academic, and exceptionally talented at teaching. Dr. Plummer also welcomes visits to her office which, in my view, only help your grade.
If you have a problem with focusing on school and are in college for OTHER reasons than learning, she may not be for you. But, if you are concerned about your future successes and desire to leave this university with a strong historical well-roundedness, Dr. Plummer is a fantastic way to start.
