Dr. Wilder, though intimidating, is a relatively nice woman. She knows what she is talking about, and when she's talking it, you'd better not interrupt!
There is a quiz and test for every chapter (but sometimes the chapters are grouped).
The final is waived, if your attendance is good, and you miss no quizzes.
Extra credit is available. You can attend several campus lectures, and write evaluations on them, or do the extra credit assignments posted on Blackboard.
She also holds study sessions for the tests.
We watched several videos, had numerous demonstrations, and a couple of experiments and class speakers.
All-in-all, I found her class, though challenging, a very enjoyable, and intellectually inspiring one.
