I don't care for the way she runs an online class. The tests are all from the book, but that is the only time you need the book. There were 4 homework assignments. Non of which had any thing to do with the test. The DB's are all different scenarios about how would you handle this if you were the manager. I would rather have my homework out of the book to help on the tests. Overall Patti is okay but I don't plan on taking anymore online classes with her.

Patty's the best teacher I've had at Western!!! She's got a sense of humor and makes the class fun. She also, a couple times, came to class and told us she just didn't want to be there and let us go. Her test are decent, the first one is easy, but they get harder as you go. You'll have to read and study her notes to pass them. The final is cumulative, but she uses some of the same questions from your previous tests and the online quizzes. While attendance is mandatory, she doesn't check it except for the first couple of weeks to learn everyones names. After that lab grades are counted as attendance grades.

Patty gets a bad rep. for how crazy she is sometimes, but it's been my experience that she's an awesome teacher! Before going into the class I heard how she was.. well basically a witch, but once having taken the class I've learned that she just has her own way. She always tries to keep the class entertained, it maybe some off the wall story or just making fun of something/someone, but you always know it's going to be an adventure going into that class everyday.

Patti is a great teacher, who loves to teach. Class was On-line but she created more interation than what is in the Classroom setting. She does not mind helping anyone out when they ask for help. You can email her anytime of day and she responds very quickly and keeps an eye on our discussion board and responds to that quickly also.

Patty is an extremely nice person. We have valid disscussions in her class, and she makes it fun. I would suggest you take her class because it is an easy A if you just come to class and participate!

She is a great teacher to take for freshman seminar! She is awesome! I loved the class!!:) She is very easy and loves her job!
