Professor White is an amazing teacher. He has first hand experience in the field and really knows his stuff. While attendance is not mandatory, I highly recommend it because he explains the material so well and makes it easier to remember and understand.
A handful of tests are the only grades in this class so if you slack off on studying a couple times it could come back to bite you. However, he always clarifies what to expect on the exam, so if you put in the time and effort you should breeze through his class with no trouble.

I love Bart White! He is a great teacher and knows what he is talking about. The tests are kinda hard but if you study it isn't too bad. His first 2 tests are just from the notes so you dont need your book right away, but after that you need the book for tests. Attendance isn't mandatory and there is no homework

He's a hoot! All of your grade is based solely upon multiple choice tests, but the tests are relatively easy. He likes to go deeper into the history of radio and TV and broadcasting than what's in the textbook.

Bart White is great teacher especially for incoming freshman or people new to the school. He is really nice and quite entertaining. The tests were pretty easy as long as you took some time to study. He lets you know everything that is going to be on the test. As long as you take notes and pay attention in class you'll do fine. I definitely recommend taking him.

Bart White is one of the most easy-going, funniest, and smartest teachers in the broadcasting department. He's entertaining to listen to in class. I've never heard anyone complain about him. You'll learn a lot and his class is not that hard. However, if you're not a good test taker, you should make him aware. Your grade in the class is basically based on attendance and four tests (this includes the final). White is a very understanding and helpful man. He even won Western's prof of the year before! Don't pass up the opportunity to take him!

Bart is a great teacher but sometimes he can get off topic which can get annoying at times. Other than that his class is based on taking notes but it's not bad because they are on a slide show. His test aren't that hard if you study you will most likely get an A.

Bart is a great teacher! He's really knowledgable about what he's talking about; I always looked forward to his class. All the notes are on PowerPoint, and there are a lot of them, but everything on the tests come from the notes he gives you. If you're good at multiple choice, you'll be fine.

Bart is a great teacher. he's really passionate about what he teaches... and he knows what he's talking about and doesn't just make stuff up or BS his way through questions. this is a relatively easy class -- he gives you the notes via a powerpoint presentation so everything you need for the tests is right there. so there's no need for anyone to do bad in that class cause everything is pretty much handed to you.

Bart White does a good job teaching this course. I learned a lot about broadcasting that I didn't know, and actually retained it. While he is a good teacher, he also knows he is. He is slightly cocky about it if you look for it. Overall, there are four tests worth 90% all together, and the other 10% is attendance. He gives you everything that will be on the tests on a powerpoint presentation and the rest you can read in the book. It's really easy overall, just study the week before and exam and commit everything to memory.

Dr. White is a great guy. He really brings this class to life. You need to attend class because you can't get a lot of his notes from the book-they're from him and him only! He also counts your attendance at 10% of your final grade. You only have tests in this class, but he makes the answers very obvious so if you know it, you'll do fine!

Take this class. He is really funny. The tests aren't worded difficult to confuse you--They are very blunt--so if you know the information you can't be confused. He makes the class more fun than what it is.

Bart White is a great guy and teacher. He loves his job and loves to share what he knows with his students. Most of the stuff for tests he takes from the textbooks, but you do still need to be in class because he will surprise you with a few questions. You will stay awake in this class.

Pretty easy and laid back. Class is easy, if you attend. Attendance is 10% of your grade, but all test are multiple choice. The tests are not difficult if you were in class. He wants as many people as possible to pass into the Broadcasting Major, so he keeps it pretty informal. Enjoy an easy teacher!
