She's really just an okay teacher. She talks like she's the one thats found all of these discoveries herself when it's pretty obvious she hasn't. She gets really boring and is repetitive but the tests aren't bad at all as long as you read the chapters. You HAVE to read the chapters to pass the tests. There are probably more questions from the text than what she discusses in class. She gives many opportunities for extra credit, and you get points also for having perfect attendance. She's nice, but I just got really bored.

She is really nice, the class never really lasts the full time. She offers a lot of extra credit, and do it all, although attendance is not mandatory, she gives extra credit for it. We only had 4 tests, so dont take them lightly.

Mrs. Carter is a delightful woman, but her tests are completely ridiculous. You have 4 grades for the entire semester, all of which are exams- they're mainly multiple choice, usually with a few short answer questions mixed in. She reviews the material in class, but the majority of the tests cover topics that she doesn't talk about. If you read EVERYTHING concerning the chapters that are covered, then you should be okay... regardless, I think most people in my class felt like the tests were way too difficult for a level 100 course.

This is a class that I believed was going to be an easy A. It's health...but she had hard test. They seemed easy in the beginning but got very hard by the end and the final was a killer. She was a very nice lady but it's health there is no reason for health to be so hard. I would always study what she put on the study guides and read the chapter and then stuff I had never even seen was on these test...not called for!

This class wasn't too bad, but it could have been better. The tests are somewhat difficult. I think it would have been better if she didn't focus so much time on contraceptives and condoms and sex. She told the class things about sex that embarrassed about 75% of the class...the other half were asleep already. Basically, it's ok until she starts in with the sex ed. Then, I would recommend skipping a few classes and attending an AA meeting to pick up the credit you'll lose for missing classes.

Carter is a good teacher. She'll give you all the notes you need in class, and gives you a review sheet a couple classes before the test. If you study the review sheet, you will do fine on the tests. I would recommend her.

This class isn't as easy as you think it might be. I tried really hard, but I was still holding onto my A with a bare thread. Mrs. Carter knows her stuff and her class is interesting, but you really do have to read the textbook and go to class and pay attention. She offers a lot of extra credit and so that helps in case you don't do well on a test in her class. I recommend Mrs. Carter for this class, but you will have to try in order to make it out with an A.

Mrs. Carter has good intentions but this class wasn't very fun at all. The whole time was writing notes. Tests were multiple choice but all the answers seemed the same. They are those tests teachers don't have to do any work with. They just pull them out of some teacher's edition somewhere. She talks way to low to understand if you aren't sitting in the front and talks to you as if you are a child. Take at your own risk!

This class is very boring, but Mrs. Carter is a very sweet woman. If you take good notes, then you'll make a good grade on the test. She gives you a good study guide. Also, she gives a lot of extra credit, by the end of the year if you have a B, and she adds in all the extra credit, you'll have an A.

The class material is pretty juvenile like "Smoking is bad" "Drinking is bad" the test can be confusing although they are all multiple choice. The teacher is sweet but can be very boring. It's easy to pass if you do or don't go to class.

Mrs. Carter is one of the most sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. She is great at teaching health and makes it interesting. She offers extra credit that actually is interesting. She is great at explaining and answering all questions and sometimes you'll learn stuff you didn't want to learn. Mrs. Carter will even crack a joke or two. I highly recommend her!

Tests can be fairly difficult, but you have the oppurtunity to receive 6 bonus points on each test. Attendance at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is required. Final is not cumulative. Overall, I would reccomend this class.

Mrs. Carter is a sweet teacher who is willing to help you anyway she can. If you do bad on her test she will sit down with you and assess the test to find out what is causing you problems. I would suggest to not go into this class thinking it'll be an easy A b/c it's not you must study pretty hard for the test, which consist of some questions where almost any answer seems it will go, but you must decided which one she is looking for. Though the test are semi-difficult she gives a chance for extra credit which I advise you to take advantage of. Plus if your they everyday you get 2% added to your final grade. Which is an extra 8 pts out of 400 that you get automatically just for being in class everyday.

I didn't especially enjoy this class, but that could be because I took full advantage of the No-Attendance policy. The tests are far too difficult for a health 100 class--they come almost entirely from the notes. I think Mrs. Carter's information is also somewhat outdated, although I must admit she is a charming, pleasant professor to speak to.

Reece is a pretty good teacher. She is an older lady, but she's still active and alive and kickin'. She gives you notes in class and you should read the chapters in the books if you want to make a passing score. Her tests aren't confusing (as some have said) as long as you know the material. She's a caring person as well! She gives extra credit like NO OTHER, and if you have perfect attendance (which isn't required) then you get 2 points added onto your final grade.

I may sound stupid, but this class is hard. Her tests don't reflect on what's in the textbook. She's a very nice lady and also helpful, but her class is awful. I hated it. You can go to several sessions offered in DUC and receive extra credit for the class. Each of those are worth 5 points on a test. I don't recommend her or this class.

Mrs.Carter was the nicest professor. She is very willing to help and make adjustments. She takes daily attendance but you can get 2 points on your final average for perfect attendance. Her tests are all multiple choice. Several in-class assignments that are effortless. You dont have to buy the book .. but be willing to take the notes. Overall, she is a great professor and is extremely easy.

Mrs. Carter is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, but her exams are EXTREMELY difficult for a health class. Some students did well in her class, but its just TOO much material to try and cover and the exams don't really reflect what is in the textbook. Just go to class and take notes and you will be able to pull off a C. Also if you have perfect attendance she will help you out with bonus points. It may seem easy, but its not!!!

Something tells me that this teacher should be teaching a lot about glaucoma. The woman always talks in plural pronouns (we & our) and sounds like she is as high as a kite everyday. Droning on and on in a flat monotone vioce that puts Ben Stein to shame. If only the course had interesting subject matter and I didn't learn it all in middle school, I MIGHT bother to stay awake.

Mrs. Carter is a very nice lady, she also will talk your head off. Not in a really bad way, she just has this thing about always trying to over-explain the simplest tasks (like her handing out papers...like we don't know how to do it) I guess it is because she is trying to act like a grandmother or something. All in all, she is a good teacher, but beware of her tests....although the class may seem easy and not worth studying for, she will pull out some questions that you are not prepared for and have you with a low B on the first test when you should have had near a 100. Have Fun.

MRS. CARTER IS NOT QUALIFIED TO TEACH THIS CLASS. I DO NOT RECOMMED TAKING HER FOR HEALTH SHE TALKS AS IF SHE HAS BEEN THE WAY TO DO RESEARCH ON EVERY SUBJECT SHE TALKS ABOUT. SHE ALSO STATED IN CLASS THAT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET PREGNANT WITH BIRTH CONTROL AS EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IS NOT TRUE. SO AS YOU CAN SEE SHE IS NOT QUALIFIED. ALSO SHE MAKES YOU TAKE TONS OF NOTES THEN SHE GIVES YOU A TEST THAT COMES FROM THE BOOK AND ITS NOTHING SHE HAS TALKED ABOUT.

Mrs. Carter is a wonderful teacher, she knows what she's teaching and teaches it VERY well. Very nice, kind woman, who is understanding about missing test. If you have perfect attendence you get 2 extra points added onto your final. Class is very interesting while she relates mostly everything to the students. Once you have a test over the information, you will never have to remember it again, nothing is cumulative. Extra credit is offered by going to health related events, mostly at Preston Center & South lawn. Make sure you do study for test, she will offer review sessions alot, attending helps you grade significantly.
