Mr. Wisley has a hard time of teaching his material. He writes terribly so its hard to read his notes. He doesn't do a good job of explaining anything.

The thing I liked about this class is that we didn't have tests; not even a final. We have "activities" that are due in class, but you have enough warning time before they are due so that you won't be stressed about it. It wasn't a horrible class, but I suck at math, so that's why I didn't do that well, but if you're not a good test taker, then Dr. Wisley is good to have.

This class is cake. He teaches 206 too. Take him if you want an easy class. Most of the work is out of class projects. He isn't a very good lecturer, but it is very easy to learn on your own with minimal effort. In 206 there are no test at all.

Dr. Wisley is terrible. He does have health problems but he is ridiculous. All the class is, is stats on Excel, but he tries to reteach you stats his way and is impossible to follow. He is not very personable with his students either. Western does a great job with this class by just having him teaching this class. It is a required class for Finance students so I wish you the best of luck.

There are good things and bad about this class. First of all, there are no tests at all. The only grades you get come from doing the assignments. They are not all that difficult, and if you show up for all the classes you should not have any problem. Dr. Wisley has a tendancy to mumble a bit, so he can be hard to understand. He really knows the material though, it's not like he is just reading out of a book to you. He makes the class about as easy as he can considering what it is.

I am terrible with math and numbers, so I had a hard time in this class. I can't blame that on Dr. Wisley. He really likes all this statistics stuff, and you can tell that he does a lot with it. He can be bit dry in his lecture, however, and some days staying awake is a bit of a struggle. You'll have to do a lot of homework and reading outside of class to keep up with the material you accidentally doze through. Unlike many teachers, he does a lot with computers, so if you like technology in the classroom, take this.
