If you really want to learn about and thoroughly understand our government, take this class from Dr. Kiasatpour. If you are interested in Poli Sci as a major or minor, then he is an excellent teacher. If you are just looking for an easy class to satisfy your Gen Ed requirements, take this class from someone else. I learned so much in this class, but it made me not want to take any more government classes for the rest of my life. I was determined to get an A in his class, but it by far the hardest class I've taken at Western so far. I studied so hard for his tests and I still didn't do very well on most of them. The 7-pg. paper is what saved my grade in his class. He is very entertaining and knows his Poli Sci, but his class is a little too difficult for such a low level class in my opinion.
