I took this as a night class on Monday nights and it was cake. I hate speaking in front of people, but this was easy. The class was small and everyone was scared so it was cool. Younglove was such an easy professor. You have a total of 3 speeches. Two by yourself and one with a group. Super easy!

Younglove is the best speech teacher ever. The class is very laid back and easygoing. Class usually doesn't go too much over an hour except for speech days.

Very difficult class, I would recommend taking someone else for this class. Speeches are hard and there is homework due every class meeting. There are three speeches and three tests. Not recommended.

We had three speeches to do in class, an informative, persuasive and group speech. We did homework assignments we had to turn-in every class and we had three tests. The speeches are difficult and the class is very long.

Mr. Younglove is a nice man, but the class is really difficult. You have to give an informative speech, persausive speech and a group presentation. We also had homework assignments every class to turn in, and 3 tests which were typically multiple choice, true/false, and essays.

Mr. Younglove is a nice guy and easy to talk to if you have problems with your speeches. We had 3 exams and 3 speeches. You have homework to do and turn in every class. The class is a night class and it seems sooo long.

Younglove is the most sincere and laid back professor i have met in my two years of college. Seriously. His test are pretty simple, he lectures on the information you need, he doenst want to confuse you and give you a bad grade. His motto is to make this as painless as possible and hopefully help you more comfy in the speech world. Theres only three presentations, which are pretty simple and the test are simple as well, as long as you study. The test are always multiple choice and true false. on the last one though, there are three essay's and you can choose which one you want to write. i would def take this guy if you need to, he's so nice. Oh! and the only downfall of the class is that its a night one, but you will never stay in there more than two hours tops. its awesome!!!

Mr. Younglove is a really cool teacher. You dont take any notes because he just does powerpoints on each chapter. For the tests he gives you the tests before hand with the page numbers to where the answers are. There's only 2 speeches and 1 group presentation so its really easy. I took his night class and we never stayed past an hour! I highly recommend him.

Mr. Younglove is THE most layed back and one of the most fun teachers on the Hill. He gave us the study guides to all of our tests. The study guides were the EXACT test, so you had the test ahead of time. He is fair with the 3 speeches we had to do. As long as you come to class and do your speeches (they don't even have to be good) you WILL get an A in the class. My class was supposed to be 3 hours long on Wednesday nights, we never went over an hour. Fun time and an easy A!

Very nice man and easy to talk to if you need help. He will work with you if you have problems with your speeches. I really learned a lot in this class, because he doesn't make the class stressful. He gives online homework quizzes, 3 presentations and 3 tests.

Jeff Younglove is a great teacher. He is always willing to help you if you are having trouble. You have to give an informative speech, persausive speech and a group presentation. We also had homework assignments every week to turn in, and 3 tests which were mostly multiple choice, true/false, and essay.

Mr. Younglove is a great teacher. He is very laid back and is always willing to help you. You really learn a lot in this class, because he only goes over the material you need to know. We had homework to turn in every week, and 3 tests. The 3 speeches are difficult, but Mr. Younglove will help you if you aren't good at giving speeches. The only bad thing is that it is night class, which really stinks, but he works during the day and it is the only time it is offered.

If you can find an opening in this man's class, TAKE IT! Mr. Younglove teaches this class as a night class once a week. It may be slightly more inconvenient in the evening, but this man is a student's dream.
Pros: Mr. Younglove goes over his material without embellishing it unnecessarily and then dismisses class. There were very few times that we stayed more than an hour to an hour and a half and those times were during speeches. He is not a harsh grader. He was very prompt at responding to e-mails. Mr. Younglove gave extra credit opportunities. Rather than making you take notes, he offered to e-mail the PowerPoint presentations to us but even then we really did not need them. His review sheets were a dream. Just know the review sheet and you will ace the test.
Cons: Can't think of any.
The work consisted of e-mailing a multiple choice review on each chapter covered (easy), three multiple choice tests with an essay question at the end, an informative speech, a persuasive speech, and a group presentation. The hardest thing in the whole class was the group presentation and that is because you have to rely on others. Do not blame me if you choose another professor and are unhappy, because I told you: TAKE HIS CLASS!

Great professor - it's a night class, which despite the shudders "night class" tends to invoke, is actually cool, in that you only meet once a week, and class only ACTUALLY lasts for around an hour and a half (Usually what T/R classes meet each meeting)
You have two speeches plus a group presentation. First speech is informative, the second is persuasive. Group presentation topics are decided within the group, and are fairly open-ended.
If you glance over the study guide a couple of times, you'll pass the tests (A couple pages of multiple choices plus a choice of doing 1 of 3 short essays)
Responds to e-mails usually within a few minutes of sending them (unless at night, then response will be early next morning).
Take Jeff if you get the chance, trust me, you won't regret it.

Mr. Younglove is the best teacher to take for this course. He only teaches night class which is supposed to last 3 hours but we normally only ever stayed for 1 hour, 2 hours max!! He is really easy on grading. He gives you a study guide for the tests which is the exact test just in a different order. Definitely take this course, I recommend it!!

Heres how easy this course is... I went to class and went to sleep. He hands out a final review that is "The Test". Just do that and you got an A on test. The you give an informative and persausive speech along with a group presetation. He is so Leniant on grading that i gave my persuasive 2 weeks late and STILL got an A on it
This class is boring but so very EAY, and its 1 day a week, and he only stays for like an hour... its a cake class take it!

Jeff Younglove is the person you want to take for this class. He gives you a study guide which is the test in a different order. He will email you the power point presentations that are the notes so you don't have to take any during class. You do 3 speeches but they are nothing to freak out about. I really think he is awesome.

Jeff is an awesome teacher. He makes the class easy so that you will actually learn something in there. He made me feel more comfortable speaking in front of people and giving presentations. He is also very positive when giving feedback on you presentations. He only teaches a night class which is on Wed. nights. He is very well organized and he is just plain cool.
