Ok, reading through the other course evaluations people are being flat out stupid. Dr. Goetting is a little flighty, and not the greatest teacher, but this class is totally easy. Its three very SHORT books, that are interesting, and a text book. I never read any of the books, (she goes over them extensively--covering each of the study questions from the study guide, which are EXACTLY what she puts on the test), and I barely skimmed the text book. I got 98's and above on all of the tests. She is not biased to gays or lesbians, I am neither and still got an A. She is not biased to only sociology students, I am neither and I still got an A. You just have to listen to her and play the class her way and you will get an A, and perhaps learn something about gender roles. I spoke up in class constantly, questioned what she was saying, and never took what she said as the final answer and still got an A. Just because she is a feminist does not mean she is a bitch. People just have to be more open minded. Take this class if you can write essays and learn little concepts.
