Additional Comments |
If you are good at math and can learn on your own this is a good class to take because it's easy. However, if you really need someone to explain step by step how to solve a problem you shouldn't take this class. The teacher DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH! He is French and very shy and cannot understand questions that students ask nor can the students understand him. He gives homework, but it's not madatory. The way he works in quizzes is that they can only bring your grade up, not down. The test you have to take, but if you get zeros on the quizzes it doesn't matter because they won't hurt your grade. They do help prepare you for the tests though. He also gives practice problems to prepare for tests. If you took a lot of math in high school it's easy, like a review. If your major requires more math classes than just 116, then you might want to take someone else who will cover mere material. He is a really sweet little man, he just doesn't know our language outside of numbers.
