Dr. Myers' labor econ course was fun. I loved it. It's all common sense if you think about it.
Not a whole lot of notes, but the ones you take are important.
Lectures are fun. Myers is a good-natured prof. with a great sense of humor, and he keeps the class lively and interesting. There are opportunities for extra credit. Not many, but a few.
The tests are pretty... hard isn't the word. "Demanding" is the best way to describe them. Mulitple choice, and he offers a 'hedge your bets' option. This is how it works -- you can answer each question three times, any way you wish. Be careful, you can really screw yourself that way.
You don't really need the book. I bought it, and it made a wonderful paperweight. If econ courses give you trouble, go out and get it.
Attendance isn't required, but you'll miss some good stuff if you don't attend, and you'll have a good, informative time if you do. Take him, have fun, and do well in the class.
