Additional Comments |
Dr. Stokes is quite possible the best math teacher I've had. Not because of his teaching, but because of his policies. He believes in releasing his test from the semester before, and then his new test is exactly the same test with different numbers. I never did any of the homework once, and only worked the practice tests the night before the test, and I got an A. If you are the type that can teach yourself material the is the class for you. Also his rules about attendance are awesome. He will no count off your grade no how many days you miss. However if you miss 4 or less days he will drop your lowest test AND REPLACE IT WITH YOUR HIGHEST SCORE. There is no reason not to do well in this class because he works out the practice exams, and the real ones are practically the exact same thing. The textbook is recommended but I wish I hadn't bought it because I never opened it.
