Dr. Pesterfield is a really great teacher. He cares about the students that he is teaching and is willing to work with you outside of class ~ at a time that is convienient for you, providing it's not at 3:00 in the morning. His tests are hard, but really make you feel good when you do well on them. They are one of the biggest challenges that you will ever have to face while in college. Attendance is no mandatory, and you don't have to take notes, unless you want to pass. And there is not a professor anywhere that is more into his subject. If you don't mind putting in a little extra effort into preparing for tests, and you really want to learn chemistry, I would recommend Pesterfield. You just can't help but learn in his class!
