This is most possibly the easiest class I have ever taken at WKU. Just read the assignments and complete the essays the exact way she tells you to, and you will get an A. You can't miss more than 3 days or she will take off your grade, but the class is simple. We even watched plays a few days. Definately a great teacher and worthwhile!!

I liked the class and Mrs. Kesler after getting into the class. As long as you do the assignments and go to class, she is very understanding. She turned our last test into the final because so many of us were worried about it and just counted the last test double, unless you wanted to take the final if you weren't happy with your grade. I would take her again.

She is retired and should have stayed retired, I took her 8am class and it was horrid. I got a good grade, but that has no reflection on her teaching ability or kindness. She has a rechedly dull personality and makes many oral sounds which are not just annoying but disgusting. I concider myself a good writter and on one of my essays she dared to say I was "too" creative or imaginative!! You'll probably pass, but dont be late.

Kesler is really old school. She doesnt put up with people missing her class and does essays the old way. She is a very sweet lady it seems like and learns everyone's name. The best piece of advice i can give to someone when is do a good job on your essays. And on the tests write as much as you can on everything. If she says write 2 sentences for each problem write 4-5. I did this and got great grades on the test while my friends did the minimum and did not do so well.
Oh yeah, really look interested in class activities because some of them she grades as quizes.

Although I have not had her at WKU, she was a former Librarian at Greenwood High School here in Bowling Green and was a real piece of work. She use to grab the kids by the ears and take them to the principle's office and I am not joking, she did this to high school students ages 14-18. She also use to kiss up to the athletes and the upper class kids. I would take someone else.

First of all I dislike English of any sort. So going into her class I was dreading it. She is some what intimidating at first as well, but the class wasn't bad. The tests are pretty easy but you have to study to remember all the stories and such read in that specific section. But I would recommend.

Kesler is one of those teachers you like or hate. She can be very nice and helpful some of the time, but at other times she is rude. She kind of tells you like it is. She grades hard, if you don't have EXACTLY what she is looking for then you'll get some points taken off. As long as you read the assignments and pay some attention in class, you should be okay. You do have to right a few papers. And go to class or else you'll get 3 pts off your final grade for every one over 3.

Ms. Kesler is not a very nice person. She has a bad attitude when it comes to problems with an assignment. She does take attendence every single day and after the thrid miss, she starts taking off three points off your final grade. She doesnt care when you have and illness or a family emergency. If she feels that you have missed too many classes she will grade you harder than her already too hard grading system... She expects every piece of writing to be formal (which isnt necesary depending on your form of writing). I wouldnt reccomend Kesler to my worst enemy.
